Seriously, I think so many “classic” photographers are ridiculously overrated (hello Nan Goldin, William Eggleston, and even Henri Cartier-Bresson…), but I have SO much respect for August Sander.

His photographs are beautiful, and I might go back to his room in the Tate Modern for the third time since September next time I’m in London just to be surrounded by his work again. I would love to have half the talent that he had.
