I'm dumb and crazy but I'm gonna try to offer to stay but switch to PT and do like 2 days x wk at current job, and ask for 36hrs/wk at new job (for now). I'm sure I'll burn out in no time at all, but the thing is I can leave current job before that happens, when I sense it getting to be too much, but it would be nice for both me and them if I can stay on for longer, right, even if I'm Not in the lead design position? I'll still do designing and help customers and make sales. I'll just have to figure out the schedules situation, I'll get 2wks scheduled at a time at new job Iirc, and weekly schedule at current job, so I just have to let 1 know what the other has me scheduled for or like pick specific days off from each job

If she doesn't go for it, that's fine, I'll live, but if she's willing to take the olive branch I'm willing to stick with it.... thru September at least!

I don't know, this makes me want to not leave my current job if they send an email saying welcome to the job and you're ready to go and then don't send the one that they're supposed to send and I'm left in limbo and worrying about it and they don't follow up.

Like okay yeah my manager's not being that mature but not reacting to my text message but I can understand it and I think the whole thing with new job is bothering me more

I mean yeah new job (currently) has the insurance that covers my medication, but

Maybe I can just do more research and actually reach out and ask questions instead of concluding the worst, maybe I can order my medicine out of pocket and finance it or something idk and stay at current job instead

So...I decided to try calling the store back and seeing if my to-be TL was still in or if she'd left for the day, I asked if she'd heard anything back, she said TMS said they would push it thru so I guess some weird glitch idk, and that she'll call me tomorrow. Told her before 10am or after 3pm

So that's...maybe resolved

I still have no idea how tomorrow is going to go, At All, whatsoever, bc my current manager is still seemingly pretending the text message doesn't exist/wasn't sent. So idk what will happen tomorrow and that's still go me stressed out and also now I feel dumb for being so panicky abt the new job situation and probably annoying TMS with my multiple requests/emails and looking like a fool.

And mostly I just want to curl up in bed and never move again and Not go to work tomorrow or the new job whenever that happens or really anywhere ever again at all
