Azhar visits the sets of SAB TV’s Badi Door Se Aaye Hai

 Balaji Telefilms upcoming movie Azhar is on a promotional spree and was seen on the sets of SAB TV’s famous alien comedy show Badi Door Se Aaye Hain. The show which has been entertaining its viewers all these years will show the Ghotala’s learning some lessons on cricket from none other than Emraan Hashmi himself who will be seen enacting the role of the famous cricketer Azharuddin in his upcoming movie Azhar.

 The Ghotala’s will be seen gearing up for an upcoming inter colony sports tournament where they will be seen practicing cricket and that’s where Emraan Hashmi will be seen making his entry in the show. The Ghotala’s being aliens and unaware of the game of cricket will be seen surrounded by all types of balls right from the seasonal cricket ball to the football to practice the game. But seeing them clueless of which ball they should use to play cricket, Emraan goes out to help them and teaches them the game.

 When spoken to Rupali she mentioned,”It was great to have Emraan Hashmi on the sets of Badi Door Se Aaye Hain. We had a fun time shooting with him and it was a great experience. ”

ETIHAD AIRWAYS Celebrates AIRBUS A380 debut in india WITH DAZZLING BOLLYWOOD DANCE FLASH MOB  

  A Bollywood-style flash mob added colour, music, dance and glamour to Etihad Airways’ official Airbus A380 India launch event in Mumbai last night. (May 4).

 The spectacular show, choreographed by renowned Indian dancer Terrence Lewis, also saw cabin crew from Etihad Airways and strategic partner Jet Airways in a spontaneous performance with members of the entertainer’s dance troupe.  

 Leading figures from government and diplomatic circles, business houses and the travel trade attended the spectacular cocktail event, hosted by Etihad Airways management from head office in Abu Dhabi and Mumbai at a leading downtown hotel in India’s commercial capital.

 Guests were treated to another surprise with an appearance by members of the Mumbai Indians, defending champions of the popular annual IPL cricket tournament currently taking place in India. Etihad Airways and Jet Airways jointly sponsor the team.

 A full display of the award-winning interiors of Etihad Airways’ flagship aircraft gave guests an opportunity to experience the comforts and ambience of the A380 cabins first hand.

 These included The Residence – the commercial airline industry’s only three-room suite in the air featuring a living room, ensuite shower room, double bedroom with a Savoy-trained butler – together with a First Apartment and Business Studio.

 Earlier this week, Etihad Airways debuted its A380 in India with daily scheduled flights between Abu Dhabi and Mumbai, becoming the airline’s fourth destination featuring the world’s largest passenger aircraft. With its A380s already operating from Abu Dhabi to New York, London and Sydney, the aircraft will also be inducted on the Abu Dhabi – Melbourne route from June 1.

 Flight EY204 from Abu Dhabi landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai last night (May 1) on the celebrated occasion of Maharashtra Day, the 56th anniversary of the state’s formation. Mumbai becomes the airline’s fourth A380 destination following London Heathrow, Sydney and New York, with Melbourne set to join on June 1.

 Etihad Airways senior management team led by Mohammed Al Bulooki, Vice President Commercial UAE, flew on the inaugural flight, arriving to a traditional lamp lighting ceremony attended by officials from the airline and Mumbai airport operator, GVK.

 Due to the current water crisis currently gripping the State of Maharashtra, Etihad Airways decided not to proceed with a customary water salute that typically marks the arrival of an airline’s first flight to an airport.

 The choice of Maharashtra Day to launch the world’s largest passenger jet to India reinforced the airline’s commitment to the country; to meet an increase in demand for air services; and to support growing trade and tourism in India.

 With the aircraft upgrade, Etihad Airways is able to offer an all-A380 daily service in both directions between Mumbai and New York JFK International with a seamless connection over Abu Dhabi, along with the unique USA customs border protection which enables guests to pre-clear US customs in Abu Dhabi. The service is operated as a codeshare flight with Etihad Airways’ strategic Indian partner Jet Airways.

UNDER A VIDARBHA-BUNDELKHAND INITIATIVE OF THE NATIONAL FEDERATION FOR NEW STATES (NFNS), “NEW STATES FOR NEW INDIA” CAMPAIGN WILL BE HELD IN NEW DELHI

 New Delhi 3rd May 2016, With a demand for the formation of Vidarbha and Bundelkhand States, as part of the ‘New States for New India’ Campaign, will be launche by the National Federation for New States (NFNS). A press conference is going to be conducted on 5th of May 2016 at 3.00 P.M. at the Press Club of India, Raisina Road, (opposite Chelmsford Club), New Delhi.

The event will be attended by  Mr. Raja Bundela, the Working President & a Film Artiste who hails from Bundelkhand, Mr Munish Tamang General Secretary Gorkhaland and Mr Pramod Boro Joint  Secretary Bodoland.

That a part, the President of NFNS, has resigned from the prestigious post that of the Advocate-General, for the State of Maharashtra, on the issue of division of Maharashtra into atleast two new States, Marathwada & Vidarbha.

And, in the context of the giant State of U.P., which is supposed to be bigger than 114 Countries of the world in terms of population as well as geographical area, is now sought to be divided into atleast three States, based on historical, cultural, ecological and economic criteria.

The event will reiterate the need to look at the demand for creation of new States, as a tool for good-governance, and that it will in this context, that the NFNS will be demanding the re-mapping of India.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Raja Bundela, the Working President of NFNS & a Film Artiste said, “That apart, there is the need to look at the demand for creation of new States, as tools of good-governance, and it is in this context, that the NFNS is going to the demanding the re-mapping of India.”

 However, because of improper implementation and lack of enforcement, the desired results for Installation of Speed Governors could not be obtained and achieved inasmuch as the State lacked in their intent on the implementation of the Speed Governor regime and kept on giving relaxation with regard to installation of Speed Governors on various category of vehicles citing reason of non availability of Speed Governor in the market with regard to that segment of motor vehicle. No effort has, however, made by the State to ensure availability of Speed Governors to achieve the intent and directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court as mandated vide its order in PIL No. WPC no 793/2015.

 Speeding Kills- Control Speed & Reduce number of accidents by installing Speed Governors in Commercial Vehicles.

 The most effective way to reduce these alarming statistics is by slowing down on our roads. If we all slowed down, our chances of being killed or seriously injured on the road would dramatically decrease. Speeding is not just driving faster than the speed limit. It is also driving too fast for the weather, light, traffic and road conditions. After lot of efforts & persuasion in order to reduce deaths & injuries on the roads of the country, Supreme Court of India in the year 2002, issued directions for fitment of speed governors to save lives to all the states, but to utter disregard to human lives states have not followed the directions.

 Recently, the Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways, Government Of India, vide Notification dated 15th April, 2015 notified vide G.S.R.290 ( E), amendment in CMVR Rule No. 118 concerning Speed Governors. According to the said amendment, the State Government, on or before 1st October 2015, shall specify the categories of transport vehicles registered prior to 1st October 2015, which are not already fitted with a Speed Governor and not exempted in the provision in the Rule, with a Speed Governor by the operators of those vehicles on or before April 1, 2016 with a maximum preset speed as may be specified in the notification or by the State Government. Further by an order dated February 18, 2016, the Hon’ble Division Bench Karnataka High Court has allowed a Writ Petition by quashing the exemption granted to M1, M2 & N1 Category of transport & goods vehicles from fitment of Speed Governors.

 Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Hon'ble Supreme Court Of India ( Writ Petition (C) No. 793 of 2015) against the MORTH, Union of India and all States Principal Secretary / Transport Commissioner a Division Bench of Hon’ble Supreme Court was pleased to issue notice to all parties returnable on 11th January, 2016 ( since extended to 19th February, 2014)to submit report(s) with regard to implementation of Speed Governors and the Union of India as well as the States/Union Territories have been directed to furnish reports as regards the steps taken by them in pursuant of the various judgments passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court as well as the statutory notifications and the letter dated 21.08.2009 for the implementation of the notification dated 15.04.2015 issued by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. (Copy of orders are available for circulation)

 In its letter dated 21 August 2009, MORTH had suggested that for the fitment of speed governors through proper tender/eligibility criteria process and follow a very stringent MIS system to ensure Quality of Speed Governors installed and avoid Fly-by-night and sub-standard manufacturers and do away with Tampering issues and provide a proper AMCs and After Sales Service. In addition in case the Vendor does not meet the requirements a stiff penalty could be imposed to safeguard the interest of the state. Thus to ensure effective implementation, the State Governments should invite tenders with suitable eligibility criteria and should not be implemented through open market process which has been extensive abused and misused.

 On 21st February, 2016 the CMVR-TSC directed that each selected SLD manufacturer/supplier will be required to maintain a MIS system to keep record of each SLD installed on the vehicle for audit/quick retrieval at any time. An MIS should be capable of analyzing all required and connected information.

 State of Bihar has come out with the notification no. 6/Miscellaneous (Speed Governor) – 16/2016/951 dated 22nd April 2016in pursuance of the MORTH Notification dated 15th April 2015. However they have not followed the guidelines of MORTH letter dated 21st August 2009 and minutes of meeting of MORTH dated 21st December 2015 of selection of manufacturers of Speed Governor through stringent shortlisting process with suitable Eligibility Criteria.  

 In this regard we believe that proper Implementation of Notification GSR 290 (E) dated April 15, 2015 regarding Speed Governors can be achieved if the same is implemented through tender/eligibility criteria process to achieve real aim of the said Notification in the State of Jharkhand.....just like the state of Karnataka has done by following a process of Selection of Manufacturers of Speed Governors through stringent short listing process with suitable eligibility criteria.

 Please Install Speed Governors to save Lives through proper tender /short listing process: In view of the above, we are pleading to the state governments that the only way to ensure the effective state– wide implementation of the speed control is to install Speed Governors regime, and to put an end to the infringement of the fundamental rights enshrined in Article 21 of the Constitution, is through immediate implementation of the scheme through proper tender process by short listing the agency/ manufacturers through rigorous and stringent short listing process with strict terms & conditions and thereafter assign the project to those eligible shortlisted manufacturers who comply & fulfil the criteria (ascertain through the state approved agency only).

  You play a superhero on your show Baal veer. How does it feel to know that kids look up to you

 I love playing the role of a super hero character like Baal Veer, it's really a lot of fun and especially when children watch me and learn good things from me I feel really great

  How difficult is it playing a superhero onscreen? Does it get difficult to shoot with the heavy costumes?

 It's a little difficult to play the character of a superhero especially when it comes to shooting in chroma where we have to act and react as per our imaginations and secondly even shooting with the costumes gets a little tough sometimes but we manage it because without the costume you don't feel like a superhero. But when we go and watch it on TV it feels so different and great, so the experience and learning while making the show is amazing 

  Who is your superhero in real life? And why?

 In real life my superhero is my father because he is an all-rounder he manages his business and makes time for me whenever he can and makes sure he comes down to take me out for movies and give us family time so I really look up to him for this 

 One crazy fan moment that you can remember?

 All my fan moments have been crazy and I really appreciate them for the love they bestow on me. If you ask me to mention one fan moment the time I spent in Indonesia with my fans was a memorable one because having viewers abroad for your show is a huge compliment for us and I was really amazed with the response our show received there.

  How do you manage your studies along with the shoots?

 I manage my work and studies all thanks to my mother, my sp, my school authorities, my teachers, my show team and as well as my father. Without them it would have been really difficult to handle so many tasks. But all thanks to them I don't have much issues managing my work and studies 

 You appeared for your 10th std board exams recently, how did it go? Relieved now that its vacation time?

 My 10th board exams weren't so tough but it's a different experience all together compared to the exams you give from 1st to the 9th std. You have a different center to go give your exams, you meet new people. I did have a little tension while appearing for my Math and science paper as they are known to scare kids and the whole feeling and pressure of appearing for your 10th boards really adds up to it but now that they are finally done I'm completely relieved 

  How are you planning to spend your summer vacations this year?

 This year as it is the summer vacations me and my family planned on travelling to a cold place so we went to Manali and Shimla to get away from the heat. And now I am back to shooting and really excited about it as I have a new superhero attire because of which I have more superpowers and it's really fun and exciting

  Any message for your little fans?

 My message to my little fans is to always be happy, always listen to your parents and your teachers. The famous Hindi television actor, Deepak Wadhwa who is playing the protagonist on STAR PLUS’ show, Tamanna, believes in simple living high thinking. He prefers to travel by public transport than private vehicles.

Deepak Wadhwa stays in Andheri and travels to Mira road for his shoot every day. He commutes daily via public transport in spite of owing a car. To this the actor says, “My shoot calls are usually in the morning and we end up shooting for almost the entire day. It gets very taxing by the end of the day. I always prefer to travel via public transport as it’s easy and less stressful. Even if I go out for a trip to Goa, I prefer going by bus or train and spending the remaining on food and shopping.”

Deepak believes in living life in the simplest way yet enjoying it to the fullest. He adds, “I don’t like to drive in the morning as the roads are very crowded and by the end of the day when I pack up from the shoot I’m too tired to drive back. I would rather travel peacefully by local train than face the Mumbai traffic.”
