It was surprising, to say the very least, but it could just be because of their circumstances; stacks of flapjacks blocking the door and every window, his doing.

He spoke what was likely the first of many bad ideas through a mouth stuffed with buttery and sticky fried dough.

He was practically her partner now, right ? isn’t this what he was getting at ?? of course she’d go to him for help. asking someone like Wade for serious help was.. a serious failure a lot of times -- he’s a messy guy -- but she trusts him more than enough. t’was his idea anyway ! She barely had any table manners either, honestly; she snorts, nearly gagging on unchewed pancake - to which would force a few chunks to slip.
