Good morning and cheers to the weekend with last night's Bloody Mary from a tasting event featuring @Progresso Cooking Stock and @VioletHour mixology. It's made with mescal, tequila, Progresso vegetable stock, sriracha with middle strawberry, cucumber, lime and a reduction syrup and it tasted so good I had three. So excited for the @bonappetitmag @chicago_gourmet festivities starting tonight! (at The Violet Hour)

Last night I previewed the @eatpurely experience, and I have to say I'm blown away with their elevated dishes prepared by @spradlin5. Their meals are prepared without the use of butter or salt, are not recooked, and use all organic ingredients delivered for an affordable price point of $10-$15! This is the Grilled and Chilled Hanger Steak, Charred Bok Choy and Shaved Napa Cabbage, Grilled Scallion Vinaigrette, Shaved Kohlrabi, Caramelized Shallot. @eatpurely is a local Chicago-based company so stay tuned for their launch in the next month!! I'm already craving some of the tasteful and creative food I tried last night (i.e. the fennel pollen and red salt chocolate) 😋 (at Eat Purely)
