We drybrushed the bass wood tiles several times to achieve the look of the tiles and cobblestones.

We drybrushed the cobblestone and tiles the same color so it would flow nicely and not overshadow the terrain.

Here is the other half of the table with the cobblestone primed and the water painted.

The blue seems really bright on the water in the pictures but looks great when the table is finished.

The next step was to prime the cobblestone and paint the water.

We were working in an unheated garage so we used a fan to speed up the process.

We placed the majority of the beans down and flattened them.  It wasn't necessary to hand place them except around the edges and the sewer cover.

Here are the lima beans we ended up using for the cobblestone.  Once again you can see we used liquid nails to glue them down.

We touched up the primer as needed while it was drying.
