Chrome Plugin- Vicenote
Voicenote is a speech to Text tool that creates text from your voice. If you find that are more fluent saying your ideas rather than writing them, then click on this link and add this application to your Chrome Browser.Â
The instructions are simple. To begin just click on the Microphone icon (middle right hand side) - see image below.
Then simply speak and the text will appear.
Website - Spelling and Grammar support
Hemmingwayapp is a website with many types of spelling and grammar tips. If you find that you write long sentences or want alternative words then just go to the site. Simply copy and paste your assignment into the textbox and click ‘Edit’ (in the top right corner) to activate the coloured writing suggestions.
When you have made the changes, just copy and paste it back into Word.

Find It – You search the web for information:
1. Create an account and download the Citelighter browser plug-in
2. Create a project using either the toolbar or website.

Light It – Highlight the Key Facts:

Videonot.es - a new way to take notes of a video
This website called Videonot.es, allows you to watch a video and type up your notes in this clever and simple way. Simple paste the URL/ Web address of your video into the appropriate box. Then press play and type up your notes. Your typing are linked to the video - in other words when you click on the notes, that moment in the video is selected and you can play it from that point.
If you have your student Gmail account open in the same browser, your notes can be saved to your Google Drive. You can then reopen your notes in the Google Drive or in your Videonot.es account.Â
