The movie really was about second chances. Not just for the villains but for all three Peter Parkers as well. No Way Home offered more closure to Tobey and Andrew's Spider-men than their own franchises did.

the thing I loved the most about no way home was how it showed that andrew garfield and tobey maguire still got it. they still perfectly portray what made their own spiderman so great- garfield and his sarcasm, his enthusiasm, maguire and his awkward charm, seeing the good in everyone.

thinking about how peter parker, a 17 year old kid with trauma and anxiety, has to grieve the death of his aunt (who was basically his only family member left) all alone because everyone he’s ever loved is either dead or has forgotten him. he couldn’t even graduate high school with his best friends, his girlfriend doesn’t know he exists, he has no friends, family or mentors left, he had to find an apartment and pass the ged all alone and he’s only a child. this is the reason why i will never know peace
