Hmmm well, guns are probably heavily regulated after the whole... environmental collapse and having to leave the planet for a decade. So for that reason, the only ones decent with guns would be bots like Brizz, who are former military and or built for war.

Lacey could figure it out, I'm sure.. Addy obviously is not a great shot at all. She's wealthy and high up enough to have secured a legal firearm but doesn't practice with it.

I don't know how to explain this but after many many rereads and trying to see the story from his perspective, he just feels less like someone who can relate to her music but rather is based off of it it can be subconscious ESPECIALLY since lovebot was being developed during a time where her some of her music became rather popular in social media. And I can see alot of connections to the songs that became popular around the time. Most specifically :

1. Family jewels from the family jewels album

2.hermit the frog also from the family jewels album

3.bubblegum bitch from the Electra heart album

I mainly am referencing these because they were pretty viral at the time of creation making the coincidence feel more likely and because I don't wanna go deeper to the rabbit hole

It's very cool that you found music that reminds you of LoveBot! I kind of wish AMVs were still a popular thing, tbh, because whew boy are there still Linkin Park songs that immediately take me back to Naruto circa 2008. There's one Princess Tutu AMV in particular that my mind can conjure up with a quickness but I cannot for the life of me remember what the song title was, so I can't look it up.

I do like Marina, although I wouldn't say I listen to her a lot or go out of my way to keep up with what she's producing. I was more into Pink, Lady Gaga, Florence and the Machine stuff.

1- is the canvas still relevant to the original plot , at least when it comes to the available extras for now

2- because i want to include character debuts in thew wiki page im working on .

aside from that i wanted to thank you very much about making the webtoon itself i wouldnt have been the same without this, it was like a form of escapism that id often find myself rereading over and over and enjoy myself a little

thank you!!! It makes my heart feel all fuzzy whenever someone says they still read LoveBot and enjoy it <3 <3 The canvas version is not really the 'canon' version anymore, no. Once we rebooted for Originals, that new one became the official story!

We are still working on looking for an appropriate publisher to get LoveBot printed (hoping we will have one lined up this year so we can start printing by next year), and there will def be extras involved with that. I'll also be booting up the Patreon more this year and including behind the scenes stuff/extras/lore on that, but for the purpose of the story itself, the Originals version is the canon one <3

It was an amazing experience for such a long time for me and so many others. I feel in love with characters and story. And some details of the word seem familiar in a scary way perhaps but the word as a whole is so far from ours. And a special thank you from me for the trans and intersex representation. If I'm not mistaken Lacey is intersex?

I'm sure that the goal of the writing was meant to be 'be true to yourself'. But there were many different messages along the way that I found very comforting and made me feel seen through a character like Lacey. How it feels to suddenly be thrown into a world (adulthood. Grief. Life after severe trauma.) not knowing myself while I'm trying to also figure out the world around me.

I just wanted to say this spoke to me as I'm sure it did many others. I hope you all continue to put your stories out there. They're important. And they help people feel seen. I hope you all keep well 🫶

LoveBot is about a lot of things for sure, and a big aspect of it is about the Othering that people face when they don't fit into precise molds of society. Lacey's struggle with dehumanization can be an allegory for disabilities, trans people, neurodiversities, racial differences etc- anyone who's felt isolated or looked at differently just for trying to be who they are.

We don't think the story is going to change the world or anything, but we were hoping to tell people similar to ourselves that You Are Seen. That you're not alone.
