My birthday was just two weeks ago so, naturally, I checked my Solar Return. If I ignore the 2 T-squares, the Mars Neptune conjunction, and the Venus Jupiter Square, it's not that bad. But since I made a small series on TikTok (if you're not following me on there you're missing out by the way) for what each rising sign in a solar return chart means, I thought I'd elaborate on it here.

SR Aries rising - You may start spending more and more spontaneously, unless Taurus is on the 2nd house cusp, in which case you'll be dealing with more financial responsibilities. You're feeling a need to prove yourself in the matters of your natal Aries house. Check Mars placement to see how and where you're taking action. Could also be a year of a higher sex drive and more attraction to other people.

SR Taurus rising - A good time for reevaluating the direction you're going in life. You're thinking a lot about financial and domestic affairs. You may feel the urge to improve your physical appearance and/or redecorate your space, make more money, and establish yourself as a powerful figure in your field. A need for physical contact is highlighted. Check Venus to see what you're attracting. Impulse career changes are discouraged.

SR Gemini rising - You're more open to new ideas than usual, as well as overall more curious. Your moods may change often, and you should be careful with the way you approach your siblings, and neighbors, and if planning any trips. You're likely desiring to express yourself more and communicate with others. Mercury's placement will show how and where this is happening.

SR Cancer rising - Strong focus on comfort and security. Your feelings are highlighted this year and you're more likely to be emotional than usual. It's a good time to express your nurturing needs and qualities. There's likely to be a few changes; Moon's placement will show them.

SR Leo rising - A very good time to do something creative and give your natural talents a chance to shine and come through especially if natal Leo is in the 3rd/5th house. You're more dramatic than usual and should be careful not to be too extravagant in your approach to everyday life. You could be growing more responsible. The Sun will show if there's gossip or speculation going on about you.

In general, the house where your Sun Return is located shows the most "charged", most "full" time of the year and is used as a general guideline for when certain events will occur.

Houses 1, 4, 7, 10, the greatest activity will occur at the beginning of the year, and will be accompanied by many circumstances and events.It indicates turning points, milestones, some extraordinary activities.

Houses 2, 5, 8, 11, the most productive part of the year will probably be the middle.The placement of the Sun in these houses represents matters related to financial resources and personal values.Furthermore, it represents conclusions, results and endings, opportunity for stabilization and consolidation.

Houses 3, 6, 9, 12, the part of the year that shows developments is the last, since all the previous periods of the year were devoted to preparation, and the necessary adjustments. Often, a big leap forward occurs on your next birthday, after such a year of rearrangements.

i would like to first state that NO TWO CHARTS ARE THE SAME. what I am about to list out does not mean you will for sure need these exact things (or all of these things) to find your person. if you don’t understand my thought process feel free to comment with questions!

any couple asteroids that aspect from the 1h based on who you are trying to attract; if you are the feminine, your masculine would be in the 1h or vice versa. EXAMPLES OF MARRIED COUPLES OF MYTH:

sun-jupiter, venus-jupiter (typically a trine), and mars-jupiter; i can’t explain why it’s always this trio in the solar returns i am looking at - maybe its because sun is the male, jupiter is the husband, venus is passion, and mars is desire.

indications of a proposal

mercury (gemini or virgo) ruled 7h - no, i wouldn’t count degrees in this. oddly, what i have noticed is virgo 7h solar returns lead to broken off engagements? perhaps not always but oftentimes ya lol.

7h mars; mars is both ambition and assertion with passion both are generally found in proposals.

8h vertex

mercury-saturn and/or jupiter-saturn; it’s giving “til death do we part vibes” also saturn is fidelity so these two aspects are good indicators that the proposal with be that of long-term commitment.

orpheus (3361) - eurydike (75); in all the charts i looked at of married couples they have a positive aspect between these two asteroids the year they were proposed to. it’s hyper specific but makes sense when you read the myth.
