We actually make up so many roles! We love doing this. So here we go:
Splitting Gatekeeper: The alter with this role may gatekeep people from entering the system (walk-ins), or monitor the system's splits. Instead of a Gatekeeper, that controls the front, this alter can only control who is entering the system or who is getting divided into it.
Imaginary Friends Holder: All the past and current imaginary friends and/or tulpas and/or daemons are in the hands of this alter. They may as well create new ones or modify them to the system's liking or need.
Creativity Stimulator: This alter may stimulate creativity, actively or passively, and/or encourage it. Some roles this alter can have is create in-system lore, construct the innerworld/wonderland/headspace, draw everyone's forms (if they have any), or just stimulate general creative skills.
Emotional Guardian/Holder/Gatekeeper: Much like a protector, an emotional guardian may protect, guard, take care of or hold the system's emotions from everyone else. This may be useful for systems with emotionally immature alters or alters with rich, intense emotions. The emotional guardian must be mature and there might be the need to have more than one, since taking care of everyone's emotions may be intense.
Angel Protector: Much like a protector, but instead of protecting the system of on-going issues, the angel may not let the issues affect the system in the first place.
Memory Guardian: This alter is not only the holder of memories, but gatekeeps them from being accessible to most. This alter's job may be, for example, to impede other alters from accessing memories or exomemories of trauma.
Wonderland Keeper: This job is similar to one job the creativity stimulator may have. The wonderland keeper maintains, constructs and destructs the wonderland as see fit. The wonderland keeper may also take care of the wonderland's garden, for example.
Scribe/Note Taker and Lore Teller/Keeper: Those roles are for alters who are good at taking notes or minutes of meetings, wonderland alterations, splits and exomemories, for example. Lore Keepers in specific tell or maintain the innerworld's lore, happenings and wonderland things.
Attraction Holder: Much like emotional holders, this alter may keep the body's or the system's attractions, for any purposes see fit.
Dissociation Holder: This alter keeps, holds or gatekeeps the dp/dr the system might experience, including fronting while the system is dissociating, be it to protect others or keep it under control.
Mirror/Mask Holder: This alter holds the autistic mask or autistic mirroring the system might experience if autistic. It includes fronting so that the system can mask without major issues, existing to be a more palatable version of the system's alters, having all the mirrored habits stored, or hiding the system itself.
Feelings Holder: Much like an emotion holder, a feelings holder may guard, hold or gatekeep the system's feelings towards itself or others.
Decision-maker: A mature alter who can make decisions for the system, take care of littles and/or help new splits make their own paths.
Stimming Holder: This alter might guard, hold or gatekeep stimming behavior from the system, may it be fronting so that the system can autoregulate, or be held back so that the system can mask.
Inner Child Holder: This alter may hold the inner child or preserve them. It might be through being a little or not. Roles of the alter may be letting out emotions, even if gatekeeped, or taking care of littles, for example.
