I don’t know understand how some people were surprised that Kidd would turn out to be a girl, the first time I met Kidd in Black Flag I knew something was up.

“Alright, love?” You glanced to your left, taking not of something bright red out of the corner of your eye. It turned out to be a young man, wearing a large red bandana. He had tanned skin as well as a charming smile – he was a handsome man, but his outfit, the weapons he held, and his demeanour betrayed him to you as a pirate. “Can I buy ya’ a drink?”

“I’m terribly sorry, sir, but I don’t accept drinks from pirates.” Your answer was blunt, and obviously dismissive, which matched perfectly with your disinterested expression.
