I could hardly watch a few episodes and I was like what the hell but still took breaks and continued watching it and the more I watched the more I started to hate Chandni’s OTT expression and clingy behavior and everybody who were responsible for that. But by the time Sasha came my patience level broke and I literally started to hoot for the vamp instead of the heroine for the very first time and thus I decided to just read the updates instead and that’s when I stumbled on your blog and read your recaps and I must say we have almost the same reactions watching it and that your recaps were wonderful and some times hilarious. Some times your responses even compelled me to go and watch the particular scenes. A virtual hug to you for expressing the state of mind of a viewer this beautifully. And hey I have a doubt I can’t find recaps of some episodes liker 56-58 and 61-66. Is it because you haven’t written it or I am unable to find it? If latter is the case please send me the links otherwise it is fine. And thank you in advance.

To answer your question, the recaps for some episodes are missing because I skipped those episodes out of sheer frustration and never wrote about them 🙃

Hi there! I haven’t blogged here in so long, I did a double-take when I saw the notification for your ask. Thanks so much for the sweet, sweet message; I broke into a smile this big! 

Old habits die hard! I’m a glutton for TV 😀  and continue obsessing over it. Since IPKKND3 ended, I’ve (re) watched The Mindy Project, Parks and Recreation,The Night Manager, The Good Place, This is Us, Mindhunter, The Good Fight. As for Hindi TV, I’ve been low-key keeping up with Ishqbaaaz, Haasil and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. 

Two shows I’m really looking forward to in 2018 (and contemplating blogging about): 

Bepannaah: Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopra’s upcoming show on Colors. It looks like an angsty, hella dramatic romance. Check out trailers (X) and (X). 

Haq Se: Rajeev Khandelwal’s (my 6th grade TV boyfriend) new show on Alt Balaji. It’s an adaptation of Little Women. Based on what I’ve seen of the cast, this could shape up to be a nice, feminist romance. Here’s a first look (X) and (X). 

That being said, I do miss IPKKND3 and wish it were still on-air 😔   

I miss Barun on TV !!! The character Advay, on paper, was top notch. I loved the element of thrill it brought to the show. My gut says we’re *not* going to see him do another show in the same vein any time soon. Makes me wish Star Plus had gone easy on IPKKND3! 

I’m not thrilled about how Shivani was treated. Gul/4 Lions/Star Plus dropped her like a hot potato. She was collateral damage in the disaster that was IPKKND3. UGH. Shivani is prime-time TV material and deserves another consideration.

I’m a sucker for 4 Lions’ brand angsty-romances and miss my daily fix!  The angsty rabba ve + the eye bonking+ “i hate you but I love you” shenanigans…I MISS IT. #comeback

I know I ranted and complained (a lot) in my daily recaps, but I enjoyed writing them. 

I miss talking to you too!

I go back and watch IPKKND1 all the time. I haven’t been able to re-watch IPKKND3 yet. Maybe soon?

1. Mindy Lahiri, The Mindy Project: I love, love, love her for her honesty, eternal optimism, free-spiritedness and her unabashed belief in happy endings.

2. Selina Mayer, Veep:  She’s a boss-woman who’ll do whatever it takes to get things done. I find her brazen obsession with the White House top job rather fascinating. She’s a shark and a damn good one at that!

3. Addison Montgomery, Grey's Anatomy: While the world was shipping MerDer, I was seriously fangirling over Addison Forbes Montgomery, the red-headed OB-GYN surgeon goddess. One of the most fabulously written “other woman” characters on TV, Addison was incredibly accomplished, confident, had an amazing sense of humor (remember poison oak?) and was a girl’s girl.

4. Kashibai, Bajirao Mastani: She was the unsung hero of Bajirao Mastani. I admire her for her grace, tenacity and feminism (18th century style).

5. Carrie Mathison, Homeland: Carrie didn’t let her severe bipolar diagnosis hold her back from the job she was born to do. She came, she saw, she conquered.

6. Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter: I really relate to Ginny’s evolution from an awkward, introverted pre-teen to an assertive, intelligent, opinionated, sassy woman. Oh, she’s also pretty darn great at Quidditch and can do a mean bat-bogey hex!

7. Olivia Pope, Scandal: She’s a white hat operating in a world of troublemakers, schemers and saboteurs. Her ability to keep her head despite being the most powerful woman in D.C. is simply incredible. PS: Her wardrobe is to DIE FOR!

9. Liz Lemon, 30 Rock: If I’m even half as cool as Liz in my 30s, I’ll be a happy, happy camper.

10. Pakhi Roy Choudhary, Lootera: Her spontaneity, uninhibitedness and ability to see the best in people were genuinely heartwarming. The innocence of young love and Pakhi’s journey through heartbreak were so, so relatable.
