James Garner and his "impertinent, baroque ass" (per Gore Vidal in his 1968 novel Myra Breckinridge) in the Warner Bros./Joseph Pevney romantic drama Cash McCall, 1960. James, whose real last name was "Bumgarner" (how apropos!), later stated that he he wouldn't mind at all if he was remembered for Vidal's literary description of his posterior, saying he had to pull out a dictionary to understand what it meant, the bottom line being that "it sticks out and it's got dimples".
