The concept of akira/ren’s and akechi’s bond will haunt me for a long time. It’s even more about the situation and conditions they are in. The fact that makes me sick the most is that they met too late and Akechi himself admits it. However there is not even a slightest possibility to make up for the mistakes that have already been made. On the other side akira wants to save Akechi. He wants it so badly that his last decision on whether to fight Maruki or accept his offer IS BASED SOLELY ON THE FACT THAT HE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT AKECHI IS DEAD IN TGE REAL WORLD. HOW DEEPLY DO YOU HAVE TO CARE FOR A PERSON TO FUCKING CONSIDER GIVING UP YOUR REALITY, YOUR FUTURE JUST FOR THAT PERSON TO BE HAPPY??? EVEN AGAINST THEIR OWN WILL?? And the fact that Akechi doesn’t even want to be saved, Akira is following his own selfish desires when he considers saving akechi

And in the real ending he still hasn’t let go of him, he still keeps his glove in HIS FUCKING POCKET…

I feel like their story is a quintessence of this silent regret and futility. And the song also perfectly describes the way i feel about them and i just sisjdhiamqns

Idk I feel like it fits her somehow since she’s a top student and all haha

I can kinda relate to Makoto and that makes me like her even more
