So today was just another ordinary day. Got up and got ready to go to school. We had to go to a assembly of course everyone is like whoohooo! A assembly time to get outta class, but what I didn't know is how much of an impact it was about to make on our lives. A girl from Uganda (Africa) came to speak to us about Joseph Kony. The man who is and has been for YEARS, abducting children and turning them into soldiers. They are threatened and made to do unspeakable things. This is a issue that needs to be addressed it's very serious.

Have you ever been in an awkward position? Well here it is, Lately I Have been trying to find myself. It's my junior year. I've been trying to make new friends but I am very shy around new people. Sooo here's where it all began. I have always wanted to be "popular" the girl that everyone talks to and likes. But as I have come to find out it's not really anything at all. There are so many things I have been oblivious to. Girls are horrible. I started talking to these popular girls, one on one they are really sweet then you get them in a group and they are soo nasty to other people. Like it just makes your stomach turn. They act so dumb in front of other people but they legit are smart. I know that they just want to be excepted...just like me. And I feel like I have started to act like them to fit in. It's like I'm losing myself. It's the question you have to ask yourself....Are you a product of society? Or do you just be yourself. I believe this is a major issue we have in society these days.
