Letās start with the obvious question: why move at all? Wasnāt I just getting all stoked about my follower count and finally having this blog in order?
If you have to ask, Iām going to go right ahead and assume youāve never managed a sideblog. Itās great to control everything without having to log out and back in all the time, but I canāt send asks from here, I canāt like things, I canāt reply - there are so manyĀ downsides. All very inconvenient downsides for a type of blog that relies mostly on interacting with others. This is going to make a lot of things easier for me.Ā
But thatās not why you hit read more. So, what will be different on the new blog, and what will change? Letās start with the former:
New theme, new URL, eventually a new icon style when I decide on one because why not. All or nothing. Letās regenerate this proverbial time lord.
Iāll be able to follow more people back, since I will no longer need to balance my dashboard between rp and non-rp content.Ā
Because Iām starting off with a clear direction, things will be a little more orderly.Ā
And...thatās about it.
WhatĀ wonāt change:
Any pre-established blog canon, AUs, storylines, relationships and so on.Ā
The ask box. I get a lot of people who donāt rp but enjoy talking with Ko nontheless, and thatās something I actually find pretty cool.
My terrible queue which I will try to fill more often. There will still be random Danganronpa/Ko content scattered throughout, never fear.Ā
My shitposting habit. You could give me a literal funeral parlorās blog to run and I will still find a way to post garbage.Ā
My writing style, characterisation, and overall way of doing things.Ā
This move is purely logistical, notĀ symbolic. I will keep this blog up as an archive of sorts indefinitely, and to ease the blow, Iāll be splitting my content both here and there for a little while (but expect me to plug the new one at every given opportunity, letās be real.)

well if you do decide to move you can leave a link in a blog post on here for people to follow you to the new profile for Ko, I've seen other tumblr blogs do it with great success but in the end it's up to you =)

If I do decide to go ahead with this, itās better to do it sooner rather than later. The longer I leave it, the more content will be left behind and the harder itāll be to bring everything together again. Iād probably keep this as an archive though. Idk. Weāll see. Iāve been considering transferring this blog onto an account of itās own but that would mean accumulating all the followers and stuff Iāve already got all over again. Plus, it could get confusing for some people. Idk. Thoughts? Opinions? A worthwhile endeavour or a waste of time?
