[[Definitely making this my Discord Icon-I MEAN-hi. Explanation of the future of this blog under the cut, but TDLR, Blog's being restructured, reboot, and all that.]]
[[I had a deep thought mid morning about this blog while working (best time to do that, I know), and I've come to the conclusion that... well... sadly, while I CAN get this blog's story to lead SOMEWHERE, I keep getting light writer's block in how to deal with a lot of characters that, well, aren't mines to work with. While I'm sure those individuals wouldn't mind I kept doing what I'm doing, there's a part of me that's not comfortable doing that-it's been eating away at me for a good long while.
For those who probably just got this random post after like... years(?), I didn't bother checking, a big portion of the blog's 12th Arc was connected with another blog, and had a lot of characters associated with it or with a few friend's characters since the universe was sorta... "big" and had connections well beyond what I originally had plans for with this blog, believe it or not.
Unfortunately, as things are, there is no proper "ending" to even just tell outright, or to give an idea of what was supposed to happen, I only have one conceptual scenario that would lead into the group splitting up to allow for more room, BUT it wasn't enough to get anywhere. And it's been that way for a long time. So long in fact that looking back on this blog's story just makes me think of how long I've been doing this and gives me "man, I'm getting old" vibes and considering what I'm doing elsewhere blog-wise and how much I'm enjoying the progress, that's not a good mindset to be in.
I've decided to, well, do the thing that's probably irrelevant to whoever happens to be reading this-if this blog even has anyone that even remembers it at this point (HAH)-but I'm doing a hard reboot on this blog. For those who aren't aware of it, there are "AU variants" of the bulk of the main cast that appear over on @askbeannuts, and I might take inspiration from their AU to re-imagine these guys here, while staying in the spirit of what the blog's story was becoming. Acting with hindsight, I know or have ideas where everyone'll fall (save for all the damn legendary Pokemon I shoved into this plot...), so I'm already making "progress". For now though, see this blog as "under construction" I guess?
And yes, this includes @askdeceptiveliepard and yes they are still universe-wise connected, and I already have an idea of how to work with that... same for all these interconnected characters, though until I have the OK, assume they're references at best with whatever this becomes, hahah..]]

I don't use mobile tumblr, but turns out today's this blog's 12th birthday and I have absolutely nothing to show for it, yaaaaaay~! Sadly, no joy, just an excuse to vent under the cut...
I'll be blunt, still haven't gotten to really work on this yet, for those who don't follow me over on @askbeannuts, I had the "fun" experience of nearly being laid off from my job! And as such, ALL of my freetime became dedicated to completing a section of the plot over there, before the axe landed-and after blocking it to be honest, so I could just go full on "askblog" for a little while-it's taking longer than anticipated and the page is a mess because of daily updates-please don't go looking and telling me it's cluttered over there-I know. I'll clean it up.
I'm not going into details of my current situation, I'm making this between bathroom/restroom "breaks"-I only get a lunch break now, hah-and I'm very not happy at the moment for work-related reasons, but it's been rough for MANY reasons for many people, I'm sure, and I'm among them, sadly.
There's my yearly update for this blog. I haven't forgotten about it! I'm just. A lot. Yeah.
Caught myself thinking about this blog again at work...
Still debating on how to go about getting things back in order over here. I'm reaching a point elsewhere where I should be able to split my focus a tiny bit, no promises.
Though, for some context, a lot of what's holding things up here-outside of focusing on one blog for nearly 2 years-is just getting the plot parts of this thing sorted out. I've probably said this long ago, but the hang-ups involve characters I don't own [a lot of the last big plot was essentially a sort of crossover as is], so more often than not, I'm thinking about how to progress with them involved. The mod of blog they're from is on hiatus currently, so I guess that's why I'm thinking about things again, hah..
While it didn't get much traction-doing the little RGB thing was something I'd like to do again to ease back into things over here, alongside progressing character-focused stories, and actually BEING an askblog of course. Nothing's written in stone and getting back into things here means... so many redesigns, so it'll be slow when it does happen. Anyway, that's all I have to say, later!
RGB?: And here I thought making certain their remains were dense enough to not be blown away was being polite... though, I guess the curious haven't gotten, well... curious yet~

Heeeey! If youāre looking for me, Iām FAR more active for @askbeannuts-like EXTREMELY ACTIVE FOR THAT BLOG-and to a much lesser extent @askextraparainspector, which is a sideblog of the beannuts blog (theyāre not connected like Pokemutants and @askdeceptiveliepard are thoughā).
I have no, uh, set timeline for when things will get running here again, mostly because, unlike the beannuts blog, which believe it or not, is almost entirely plotted out for the full length of the arc thatās running over there, Pokemutantās Arc 13 has an āideaā of whatās going to happen, to be less vague, I donāt have much written out or down.
When I DO begin things back here, I think itāll be more or less ask-focused?? Mainly because, honestly, Iāll probably need to relearn how to draw these guys, and I hope to bring whatever crazy energy Iām using elsewhere here! Time will tell, thanks for reading!

Iād say, for Pokemon who want to keep somewhat of a low profile, itās probably best to have this place as some kind of haven... not that I agree with everything that goes on here.
