Ask Simon Henriksson

"Well…Since you met me and that doctor you mentioned." She began. "There might be a possibility that there are others…Right?" She asked.  The look in her eyes were filled with some hope yet fear (possibly from earlier), as she wore a smile.

"Well… Since there’s monsters running amuck, might as well find something to defend myself with. There’s bound to be something here I could use." She said, placing her hands on her hips as she looked around. "I’m gonna look around, you just stay there and relax.” 

When was the last time he even slept? Halle sighed as he ran fingers through his hair and kept his eyes almost locked on to the logo on Simon’s hoodie. If he could keep focus, perhaps the uneasy feelings would go away. Focus.

"Do you know where we’re going?"

Halle couldn’t remember if he had already asked, but the silence only made him nervous and the voice of another reminded him he wasn’t on his own. Though, he was legitimately curious to their destination… Assuming they had one.

What was that?

Halle broke focus on the logo and looked behind him. Nothing.

"Hey, Simo—-"

CRASH.

Eyes are a neat little thing, aren't they? They see things that your mind registers as what it should be. For example, if you're looking at a lamp, you think "That's a lamp." Simple. But then what about other things, like movements in the dark. That something in the corner of your eye that you could have sworn you saw, but you just aren't sure. Your eyes saw -something- right?

Night terrors are a good example of this, but another time.

'I think too much' Halle thought to himself. As he stared into the depths of how black it was in the room, he swore it swirled and moved in his eyes. 

He felt, however, that he was just dragging down the already dark mood with his paranoia. Unless, of course, something really was there.. watching them. Halle shook it off.

"Uh, yeah.. I mean.. that last one scared me. .. yeah. Monsters definitely scare me." he smiled sheepishly as he ran his fingers through his hair.

“You’re lucky that it wasn’t something else that found you." 

What there’s OTHER THINGS other then the chainsaw pyshco?! Well, this is gonna be a LONG NIGHT. 

Alright question time. 

“What were you doing in a place like that anyway?" 

With a soft sigh, Kyra leaned against the wall as she gawked at the floor in deep thought.

"In all honesty…I couldn’t tell you even, even if I wanted to." She admitted sadly. “I just found myself laying on a bench that happened to be in a courtyard of sorts, alone. At the time, I had no idea where I was, how I got there and why I was all alone. And still to this very second, I still don’t have any answers." The girl took a deep breathe. “So, I did what everybody would probably do in my situation. Got up and went to go look for some answers. On this little ‘quest’ of mine however, I didn’t find anything or anyone for who knows how long. I was beginning to think I was the only inhabitant in this godforsaken city. Well that is until I ran into Pyscho and yeah… You know how that all went down." She took another long deep breathe.

 “This way." He said to her. Automatically complying, the girl followed him.

Simon didn't really answer his question. Did he really not know how his life was before these..monsters? Or was he just dodging the question? For now, Halle just brushed it off.

Halle raised his hand to brush against the dusty walls, feeling every crack, bump, and imperfection from what he assumed was age.

The world was quiet, and he wasn't entirely sure if he liked it or not. It was like everyone went to sleep.. and just never came back. Now the monsters can come out from under the beds and out of the closets, as no one is there to chase them away with flashlights or brave parents.

"I guess, monsters don't really scare you anymore.. I mean, if you're used to it and it's been a couple months.." 

He found Simon to be lucky in that aspect, to not be as scared of the demons and shadows that lurked beyond light's reach. 

"Run! Just Run!" He shouted. There was no time to object. No time to think. There was only seconds to react and follow. As they ran, she heard the threatening roar of the chainsaw and that pyscho’s screaming. Also gunshots, and the male’s curses when he missed. Those noises didn’t matter though, what mattered was running away from the freak who was chasing them. She was beginning to think that the ‘person’ wielding the bloody chainsaw was even human anymore. Just a monster within a humanoid shell. 

The situation they just so happen to drop into sucked into was something that could be straight from sort of horror movie. It reminded the girl of that one scene where a woman was running down a never ending hallway. However in her and her new companion’s case, they’re running down a never ending alleyway with a some entity running after them with a FUCKING CHAINSAW! The two kept running through the backstreets of the city for what felt like an eternally. Soon the chainsaw’s roar sounded dull this time around, but not to dull to dismay it’s raged cry. The two finally stopped their racing feet, when they stopped at a crossroad like alleys.

Trust me, it’s far more better than just spending the rest of your life crying while replying :c PLEASE do what this says :(((

Crazy. What a crazy kid. Halle smiled to himself and moved quietly to keep up with Simon. He didn't want him to notice that he had stopped in the first place. 

"Yeah? Well.. I've got your back too." and while he smiled, his voice was confident.
