Aziz smiled, looking at the note.His auntie was a wild spirit, that much was clear. He was glad that she was making the best choice for herself, though he did feel more alone at the thought of both her and Eira leaving. These past few months have definitely been..a bit distressing.

Aziz looked at the letter, feeling discouraged. Sure, they were going to keep in touch like they always did and this wasn’t a break-up but ...it hurt knowing she wasn’t going to be around anymore.

Still, the prince could smile at the sight of the last 3 words, getting butterflies in his stomach. Saying them through a letter right before she left sounded like something her mother’s daughter would do. The feelings were reciprocated but he never got to tell her and she left right after confessing to a murder.

Well, it wasn’t ideal. But he could get through it.
