You've mentioned making adjustments and upgrades to your physical form before, and that has me wondering: If you were to undergo a complete overhaul, what would be the smallest amount you could be reduced to where you would still remain "you", ie, what is the physical seat of your consciousness? I'd imagine it would be your brain, or at least a part of it. Then again, would you even care if your consciousness was snuffed out during this renewal, so long as your knowledge remained intact?
A question on the nature of identity? Not exactly what I was expecting, but I'll give it a go. I'm no philosopher, but I could likely encode my consciousness into a small amount of glistening oil. Remember, it is as much a data storage medium as it is a means of phyresis. In theory, the Gitaxias-infused oil could implant my ego into just about anything to which it was exposed.
Hmm. That's actually an intriguing line of inquiry. I may have to look into this...
It appears that most of your creations use a neural-based processor or "brain", either an actual organic brain or a design closely based upon it. Have you ever considered using digital processors? There's a lot to be said about the versatility and adaptability of organic neurons, but for pure processing power and scalability, I think there's a lot going for digital designs. I'm sure a mana-based processor could make even quantum computers look downright antiquated.
I've seen diagrams of some interesting uses of semiconductive materials in my online research, but for now we lack the manufacturing capacity and precision techniques needed to make them. Besides, magic more than compensates for the messiness of wetware.

Hmm. As I've noted, the relative objectionability of an odor is largely relative. It all depends on how one reacts to the smell of chlorine, solder, and glistening oil, which is not unlike petroleum.
Granted, there is an element of gore immediately after a biopsy, but I try to decontaminate soon afterwards.

Why Urabrask speaks so little if he's the red praetor? Should he be wordy and all over the place? Also, when he does speak, is it worth it?
Urabrask sulks in the Furnace Layer because he finds himself conflicted. Emotion and empathy plague him, making him doubt his role. Sadly, we have no one better to manage the Furnace's infrastructure.
When my quiet brother does speak, it is often with insights that none of the rest of us think of. His unique perspective has been useful in the past, but whether it outweighs the liabilities of emotion remains to be seen.
