People often forget that cats are brutal killing machines because they're so cute. I have the same problem. You should get a smaller, more adorable animal for the cat to kill and devour while you are eating. Remember, murder is always the answer. 

I have wasted my fair share of time trying to convince the soft-bodied pinkies to see our ways, from murdering near them to murdering with them, but they are unmoved. Perhaps try murdering at them?
