So guys, I might as well explain the 'X' markings, as the entire plot of this blog depends on them. First off however, I may as well say that all characters on this blog owned by me are from a White 2 Nuzlocke I did around a year ago. So keep that in mind! You may have seen 'X' marks on Corpse. Two, even. These represent life and death. It is said that a great deer with a 'X' as it's symbol is in charge of keeping all Pokemon alive. Some ask how it works, and let me tell you, it all depends on a small X marking on each Pokemon. This X is placed in a spot on the Pokemon body where the death of that Mon will start from. An X on the neck may refer to being choked, or maybe having your neck ripped in a fatal blow. An X on the head might refer to a serious concussion that leads to blood loss. An X on the chest may refer to loss of oxygen, a cracked ribcage, or even any serious injury that was directed at the chest. One on the torso may be having your legs crushed or ripped off. They can be anywhere, and the spot they are placed depends on the cause of death. When an X is either torn off or faltered in any way, the pokemon will die, and never come back. You may ask about ghost types. Those Pokemon are still dead, and can not ever use their body again. But, on incredibly rare occasions, the death can be stopped forever, If while dying, the Pokemon happens to encounter the Life Deer, and some of its magic falls upon the X, the Pokemon will turn into a ghost, but still be alive. It can use it's body as normal, be immortal, and never go to the afterlife. This causes a mutation called the Dual X. The pokemon will not die the first time, it's X will be intact, but it will have had a second X, with can be ripped off. The second X, if torn, causes the mutation into a ghostly being who has never truly died due to its first X. But this is a rare thing, and has only occurred so far in one Pokemon
