So you almost let one of the people that you trust the most assassinate your sibling and now they are no where to be seen who even knows they might be dead somewhere do you really believe that 4 will stop half way from a mission when have they ever stopped and given up YOU left 4 unsupervised and now neo is dead
Nanami rule number one: Never let them around a Splatana. They swing around far too much for comfort, breaking... a lot in the process. Like giving a toddler a chainsaw, except nobody gets killed and comparing them to a toddler would get you knocked out for a week.
Nanami rule number two: Never hurt one of their friends.
Recieving this message was terrifying in of itself. Nobody was supposed to know what had happened. Nobody, at least outside of the NSS. But the fact they had told them Neo was dead—?
Really, there was no reason not to believe it.
It had been... how many days, now? The smallfry was still ravaging their apartment. The air still hung silent. Messages were unanswered. It was terrifying, especially given when they were last seen.
Before Nanami could be launched into a full-blown panic and spike of self-blame, the sound of Little Buddy speaking rang through the room. It stared at nothing. Thought of nothing. Nothing was going through it's head.
... At least, that's what they thought, before it hopped out of the window.
Letting out a sharp gasp, they rushed to the edge of the windowsill. It wasn't a huge drop, so little that a Smallfry that was now running off to nowhere could survive it. That an Octoling used to constant danger could survive it.
And survive they did, as they started to sprint after the Smallfry. Where could it be going...?
