//Crea would be very charismatic in this AU bc he was able to grow up and mature, and through that learned how to be a good people person and know how to talk to get info. of course, he’s still a sweet cinnamon roll and would never “cheat” his way to getting information, but just something about his aura around him allowed people to relax and trust him with whatever they said. basically, he would be a much better conversationalist than he was in the webcomic when he spoke with Elf, and with this skill help tell Ros of any news about this time period they’re stuck in (and any sightings of Rchi)

//when Ros is about to seal Rchi at the end of vol1, Ros figured it was for the best to seal him on his own this time bc he felt bad for having Crea get involved/sacrifice his life for something his own father did. Ros would have told Crea this beforehand and they would have argued for months, but they’d come to a conclusion of letting Ros seal him on his own. so that’s why he’d leave without Crea then, much to Crea’s irritation. at first they both believed it was for the best, but when Crea saw the look on Alba’s face as he held Ros’s red scarf in the wind, Crea knew they made a mistake and he wanted to help fix it. of course, he was planning on saving Ros, but he’s not as good as a strategist and would have to take some time thinking of a plan.

//idk how Elf would have provoked Ros in the DR to let him and Rchi leave without being sealed, but during the year, Crea “bumped into” Alba and Ruki as Alba faced a giant monster and was losing (bc he was still weak at the time). Crea defeated the monster and when he turned around, Ruki recognized him in the photos like she did with Ros (but bc she was still mad at Alba for not believing her, she didnt say a word).

//Crea actually gives Alba some pointers on fighting techniques (bc he wasnt a swordsman himself, he was only relaying tips that he noticed from Shion’s swordplay way back when) and Alba branched off from there. Crea travels with the two of them, and Alba’s relieved that he no longer has to deal with constant teasing and pain (but it reminded him of who was missing from the picture). With Crea’s perfect way with words, he’s able to comfort Alba in times of trouble, and the two become friends as well (of course a different dynamic than with Ros and Alba or Ros and Crea)

//but anyways, so Crea helps in the fight against Rchi in the end of vol2, but Rchi knows his techniques more than he knew the other fighters, so Crea couldnt be too much help, other than a distraction so other fighters could possibly lay a punch on him.

//no one wanted to stab and kill Rchi, so that’s why they figured removing his soul would be a more humane choice, and this decision was made when Ros knew Rchi screwed up too much to be shown any mercy. the soul was buried like it was in the webcomic but the body was buried elsewhere.

//during the time Crea and Ros decided to travel so see the world, they often visited Rchi’s burial spot, and found a small sprout break through the surface of the dirt, which would become a beautiful large tree by the end of vol3 when all the flowers were blooming in the once barren deserts. on days that Ros went to teach Alba magic though, Crea also came to help since he would have also known about magic enough to help tutor him.

//after Ros reuniting with Cecily and Lake (and when Crea watched over Cecily during the volume,) Crea told her about the tree, and ever since then Cecily found herself visiting that tree from time to time. sometimes she would talk to it, sometimes she would sit and read, and sometimes she just placed a hand on its huge trunk and just sigh and think silently.
