Hey guys, I don’t normally ask for help. I actually have been taught NOT to ask for help, but I am burning my candle at both ends and I am so stressed out. I can’t afford the gas to drive an hour away to go to work at a place that pays $10.50/hr because I spend $400 a month, alone, in gas. That is almost an entire paycheck for me. I am not on foodstamps and can’t apply for them because my mom is using my address as hers and they will just add $50 to hers since I’m not 25. My mother left a backed up lot rent, backed up gas bill, and ran up the electric bill when I moved in and had it switched to my name. They were supposed to be out of my place by March 25th, but instead stuck around with her deadass boyfriend. So figuring she would help, I wasn’t so stressed, plus she was buying the food. Now I have come to find out she only paid $40 the entire time she was here, leaving everything else up to me and basically getting a free ride until she moved out. She is also using me for storage and I can barely live in my own place because her shit is everywhere.

What I need help with is getting caught up on my bills. I don’t normally ask, but I don’t know where else to turn because I either don’t qualify for the government assistance I need, or my mother is preventing me from getting the help I need.

Bills:

Rent: $450

Gas: $130

Electric: $213 (this includes the $130 connection fee)

Car Gas (per 2 weeks): $160

Internet (used for school): $60

If you can only donate $1, I am still grateful because that is a dollar more than I have. I need to figure out a way to pay all $1,013 of my bills so maybe I can start focusing on getting my food situation situated. Because we are literally hardly eating. By that I mean, I had a can of greenbeans before my 8 hour shift and that was all until the next night at 8:30pm before I ate again for my next shift. I cannot survive off of that, I do physical labor all night and I can tell t is taking a toll on my body.
