[ In an instant a much taller squiddle would appear over Fitzroy, a sound of soft echoed hissing filled the room ]

SCUD: " Yes. We do not look scary right now, because there is no need. We only need to rely on that when we are threatened. " SCUD: " But by all means. Give us a reason. "

[ Someone is not very happy ]

“Oh do not worry, I do not plan to be any kind of threat to you guys at all, I apologise if I made you feel threatened somehow!”

“Besides you the one who is threatening him now just because he complemented your hair, seem like you can not handle some few good words~”

A void mass that takes a fork of a little girl peeked from behind Fitz while looking at Scud with a smug

“J-Jessica be nice!”

SCUD: “ ..You should be careful with your words. Not everyone is overjoyed to be called cute. Especially not things that rely on intimidation as a defense mechanism. “

“Ah I see, apologies then! How about if I called you cool looking?”

[ The hissing has stopped. As did the expression on Scud's face, which is now completely black! His ear frills have relaxed, although he remained in his uncomfortable looming-ish position over the expendable ]

“Hello there~ I am glad you took a liking to my hair! I also really love your hair, so long and pretty!”

Jessica smiled proudly by how Quincy was much more welcoming and nicer then then the other.

“Well~ it is good to know not everyone here lost their manners, I already like this one way more then that one.”

QUINCY: “ Yes. Ohh oh oh! Yes, my hair. So so long. Very much so. Yours is so pink.. And you have many arms !! “ [ A tentacle unwraps from Sev, beginning to coil around Jessica’s ]

[ I don’t know how, but you can practically SENSE the eye roll coming from Scud. They aren’t.. BENEATH beefing with a child.. But they have way better uses of their time. ]

“Heheh~ feel free to admire me all you want!”

While Jessica enjoying the attention, Fitz looked at Sev and smiled.

Fitz can tell that name probably means a lot to the other by how he sounded while saying it… he sounded so much sadder and he is not sure if he should ask or not but…

[ Sevyn helps himself to around Fitz, settling around his shoulders. Chin settled on his head, deflated ]

He sigh and shrugs his shoulders with a small smile.

“Hahah~ you seem so excited about this!”

He turn to look at his daughter who by now has Quincy wrapped around her while she just standing there, accepting her fate and just asked her “would you tag along, sweetie?”

“I have nothing better to do so why not?”

He smiled and looked back at the other.

[ Quincy is heard making quiet little chirps, while Sevyn "holds" he expendable's hand and begins leading him down the dark corridors ]

“No, I am not a Squiddle like you two. Although due to my past and my connection to the void mass, lights are a bit of an annoyance but I can handle them…. Kinda miss my sunglasses now tho.”

QUINCY: " Ohh .. Oh sorry.. No no no. Not a squiddle.. A Jessica !! "

An expendable exclaimed happily as they put their flash light away. They smiled widely at the Squiddles getting close but not too close to cause discomfort.

"Gah you little guys look so very adorable"

[ Quincy looms right over the other. If she was bothered by the other's presence, there was no indication of it. ] [ In fact, Quincy got even closer, echoing "buddies and homies" as she did so ]

[ A tentacle wrapped around Casey and squished her cheek. Like someone would do to a puppy ]

QUINCY: " Buddies. Homies. So biig. So big eyes. Wow wow.. hello buddies homies !! " QUINCY: " Hello !! With big eyes!! "

"Never took you guys as the curious type. Always assumed you guys were just shy."

[ Now there are TWO tendrils on her face, pushing and pulling at her cheeks like she was slime ]

They smile up at Quincy, holding out a hand for a hand(tentacle?)shake.

[ She would wrap a tentacle right around Quinn's hand. And then around their arm. No pressure, but it'd probably be a sensation and a half! ]

They smile brightly up at the Squiddle, giving Quincy’s tentacle a light, friendly squeeze!

[ She spoke in an almost vacant trance, tendrils brushing past their hair ]

“Alright- I’ll keep an eye out for them! Oh- who’s Trin? Another friend?”

SCUD: " Although I prefer the name Scud. A lot less demeaning " [ They would swivel around Quinn, Quincy's gaze doesn't leave the "human"'s, more tentacles wrapping around their hands ]

SCUD: " And what would you happen to be. It wouldn't be human. Quincy would've torn you apart. But you don't look very mutated "

With a small ‘poof’, Quinn disappears, reappearing a foot or so behind their original position, and raises a hand to their neck. They pull down their crimson scarf, revealing heavy scarring…and a set of gills set into the sides of their neck.

SCUD: “ Ah. They got to you then. The researchers ? “

QUINCY: "So pink. How pink!"
