Atlantisite is very calm. She doesn’t like being too far away from Amethyst and I for even a short period of time. But Greg says she’s been very well tempered compared to Steven when he was a baby. And thank you for the onesie!

~Labor~
    It's a normal day at the temple. Connie's visiting today and watching television with Steven and Peridot, Amethyst is messing around in the kitchen for a snack and Garnet and Pearl are chatting about something nearby the warp. Garnet walks over to the kitchen counter "Pearl and I are going on a quick mission, Amethyst. You stay here with Steven, Connie and Peridot." "Aww why?" Amethyst whines while putting a rather odd looking sandwich she's constructed onto the counter. Garnet leans over the counter and whispers. "Peridot could go into labor any day now. She'll need you there for her if it happens while we're gone." Garnet starts heading back to the warp, which now has Pearl waiting atop of it. "We won't be long. Good luck!" Pearl chirps before warping out with Garnet.
    Amethyst sighs and looks up toward the three casually watching TV. "Do you guys want anything before I come up there?" Connie is the first to respond, "Do you guys have any Cheesy Chaps?" Steven is already rushing down the stairs to help grab some food. "Can I have some orange juice?" Peridot yawns keeping her eyes on the television. After everyone was given their food Amethyst sat down next to Peridot on the bed, wrapping an arm around her. The green gem leans into her girlfriend and sighs.Â
    After an hour or so the calm moment is put to halt as Peridot feels a sudden pain in her swollen abdomen as if something had burst open. She lurches over in pain and groans as a contraction begins. “Hey! What’s the matter P-dot?” Amethyst asks in a worried tone. Both Connie and Steven’s attention is drawn from the T.V. to the pregnant gem. “I think the geode burst,” she clutches her belly and moans in pain.
     “What do we do? Garnet and Pearl aren’t here!” Steven yells in a panic. Amethyst grabs Peridot’s hand trying to keep her composure, “Peri we need to decide now. Are we going to the hospital or staying here?” Peridot shakes her head. “No, I’m staying here! They couldn’t do anything even if they tried.” Amethyst looks up at Connie and Steven, not knowing what exactly to do. “Since she kinda knows what’s going on with your pregnancy I can call my mom and maybe she can come over to help?” Connie suggests, trying to be of some help while attempting to calm Steven down. “Alright..” Peridot rests her head on Amethyst. “This is gonna be one crazy ride.”Â

Ooh, look, its the other side of the fourth wall and I'm a mom... ooh. Anyways, as a gem specialist I think I may know a type of gem you can possible have. Its an Atlantisite gem, its green and blue! It'll work out, since you're green and Amethyst is purple? Ah, just a stray thought, but you never know! ^^
Amethyst: That’s what we were thinking the gem would be.
Peridot: It would be an interesting gem to see once they’re here.
Since you are having a geode does that mean you are going the have it wait a bit then the geode will hatch or Will you give live birth.
Peridot: After thinking about how this is all going to work, I think the geode is going to burst while I’m in labor. So the baby will take form during the process and…well basically live birth, if that’s what you mean.Â
Peridot: So you can say the geode breaking will be like a human female’s water breaking?… If that makes sense..?

Hey Peri are all gems girls if they aren't do you want a boy or a girl.
Peridot: The large majority of gems are identified as female. So we’re assuming the baby will take on a female form. Or they may not. I don’t really care either way.
Just curious, have you thought of any names for the lovely child yet? ^-^
Peridot: We're not sure... We don't even know if the baby will be a peridot, amethyst, or completely different gem altogether. So it's difficult to make a decision because we may not even have to name them.
Have you felt the baby kick yet?
Peridot: No. The baby won't kick because it's a geode that formed with what I'm guessing is the gem inside. Much like how a regular gem is formed in the crust of a planet.
Peridot: So I guess “for looks”? Steven and Connie really like them on me and Amethyst says they’re cute and fit me.

~UPDATE~
Hey everyone! Just a little update, PERIDOT WILL BE HAVING THE BABY BY THE END IF THE MONTH! But for me to answer questions, I won't be coloring the little answers. I'm running low on supplies and have been scared you guys wouldn't like it if I didn't color them... That being a reason I haven't been up-to-date with Ask-Mamadot... More reason being: I'm still in school, am suffering from constant exhaustion, anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, laziness, stress, and just wanting to make you guys happy to the point that I overthink EVERYTHING and end up getting nothing done... But just so you all know~ I'm going to answer a question a bunch of you have asked later today. (Since I'm literally on my bus to school right now, and me being a goody-two-shoes I RARELY get on my phone during school) I ALSO NEED TO MENTION, questions like "do you have a pregnancy fetish?" Need to not happen. Please. I do not and am not interested in such things in general. (I'm ace haha and I know ace people can have fetishes and stuff but I'm not interested in anything like that. We cool buddies?) I just think the idea of two characters loving each other and having a baby together is heartwarming and adorable. That's why I made this ask blog. So I hope this update gets everyone excited! ~M
