So, now Stitched Universe has officially moved away from CoD (Bell and Roach, and a few others remain but most likely will have redesigns and shit), I get to do whatever I want to my teams.
That includes giving Daniel magic. I always give him some form of magic in any other universe he's in (SoI, he's a shapeshifter. MLP, he's a unicorn. Etc etc.)
I'm still yet to figure out what sort of magic he'd have. I dont want him to be insanely powerful (even though that'd be cool, and I'd defo give him major side effects) ...maybe I will. Dunno. Need to speak to my lawyer (eld)
But now I can fully embrace a few things and also do new things
- Sage is officially Daniel's step mother. He has a centaur. As a step mother. Still better than his bio mom 🤷♂️
- Dante are no longer officially affiliated with the government, or the military. They're a mercenary group. Practically illegal. Seems more up the alley of cast out misfits
- Atheset City gets to be fully incorporated instead of just being a hidden city, and hopefully gets more involved with the world
- MORE MYTHICAL BEINGS! WOOOOOO!
I'm so excited for this new big chapter in Stitched Universe QuQ
Given whatever the fuck CoD is doing now and what they HAVE been doing for a while it seems, me and Divoha had made the decision to move Stitched Universe far from CoD and make our own Military au bs. the 141 will still be there, along with all the others, but this will be our *own* version. We get to write the story and how it goes. They will be considered Canon Based Characters.
He's dangerous. Very. Very dangerous. It's the reason why Jade went for Daniel first. Get rid of the most dangerous of the Wilson family.
Moose has been known to completely snap.
When discussing lore with Divoha, we came up with scenarios, canon ones mind you, though the timeline needs to be sorted. He painted the floor red when Shadow Company came snooping around his Ranch while his family (Siblings, Father and Nephews) was there (They have never seen this side of him.) When I say he's protective, I mean it. Anyone who's come to harm his family, has to get through him first.
His kids have seen it before, many times, especially when it came to someone getting handsy with his daughters. There's still blood on the wall. Don't get me wrong, those kids can take care of themselves, but Moose can't turn being protective of his kids off.
Now this idea was from Divoha for the Tournament Arc (we included Rainbow into the universe because, hey, its fun!) and Moose really despises Kali, because of her relentless need to recruit his team and sh6. It came to a head when Daniel wasn't allowed to compete because of his health (It was bad around that time), so you can understand he was beyond pissed off. So, he went into one of the games, unseen, plucked a sniper rifle from Hurricane (TF-141's Sniper oc. More on him some other day), and shot Kali right in the head (It's not a real gun, but she definitely got concussed) and walked off. He did get reprimanded for it, but it caught a lot of peoples attention.
So yeah. He's dangerous. I should work on something for the day he truly snaps.

Ok so. Moose and Cotton? Father and daughter, biologically. Cotton has a non-identical twin, Ratchet, who was a neutral relationship with her father, as she resents him not being there. (He was never told of their existence, he found them by pure luck.)
Cotton looks up to this man. She sees how he can rally allies with ease like, god damn. Also, he was her gateway to more family. A grandfather (A revived one at that), Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. It gives her piece of mind away from her bio mother, and stepfather.
She's the Medic for the 141, though steps in for Dante at times when their Medic (Fish) is MIA for health reasons.
Im rambling. Oops.
So basically, Moose had a one night stand, Moose was dealing with internalised homophobia, and just wanted a way to deal with it. That did nothing to help, and oops, soon came along Cotton and Ratchet.
A bit about Cotton though. She is a former Shadow Company Medic, leaving during the Las Almas butchering, to also find her friend, Hutch, who was dragged off and never seen again (Till much later). She quit, and found the 141 and became their medic, which has strengthened the alliance between the 141 and Dante.
Cotton has the same sibling vibes with Storm, but a lot more stern. Mother Hen more like.
Would Moose go after missing members of his team or allies? I don't think he would if I'm going to be honest

He would 100% go after them.
Remember. Ferret, Henry, Lumberjack, Cotton, Ratchet, Carnell and Jerry are legally his family. The others like Storm and Hurricane may as well be his family.
And his allies? 141? SH6/8/9? Ashes?
He would find them, even if hell spat down hellfire, he'd still try. He cares about all of them.

Henry goes by "Jackdaw" when it comes to Military.
He was born 1923! I know right?! How in the fuck! He had Daniel in his 50s. Laura was much younger, because Henry had 'money' and Henry was desperate for someone to be with.
Laura wasn't nice, to say simply. Abusive. Money wise, physically and mentally. Henry was brought up to never lay a hand on a woman, so he endured it. Though we won't talk about the fact he had a one night stand behind her back. He regrets it, but he isn't a saint either. Laura has cheated on him repeatedly. (Doesn't make it better tbh for both parties), meaning he also has a kid out there (IMPORTANT FOR LATER!!!)
He was Captain of his own squad during the Cold War, but retired due to an ever increasing issue with his lungs. Diagnosed as Cancer, most likely misdiagnosed but it got bad enough. But while with his squad, he adopted a few young recruits.
Laura grew increasingly hostile when Henry got sick, more so when Daniel was born.
He tried to make Daniel's life decent despite his failing health, taking him to see his grandparents up in the mountain. Though Daniel still happily went with him to the hospital, anything to be away from Laura.
He died in 1993 from "complications", though it's still uncertain in the universe if it was lung issues, or suicide from how bad it was. Daniel was 15 at the time.
As eldritcmor said, he's the second oldest in terms of when they all died. Chosen as the captain of the Zombie Squad because of past experience. (Why they chose him specifically is to be decided!)
Daniel is in his 40s at this point in time, has his own biological kids, adopted a few others, and has a husband, to Henry's delight!
What's better (or worse depending on how you see it)?
He's got one other biological kid, the one he didnt have with Laura. Sol. He has two sons of his own, Jerry and Carnell!
He loves his current squad. These are HIS lads. Hurt them, you die.
Nowadays he's fine with sticking to the bar, though like the other bar members, he has 'flare ups'. His lungs still think they're having issues, and they spasm. Badly. Leaving him wheezing for air.
He's fine hehe
So in summary
Henry had lung issues
Had an abusive wife, an adorable son
Died of "complications"
Revived to be a Captain
Learnt he has grandkids, and his sons have grown up.
Loves his squad, and if anyone kills them, he'd kill everyone in the room and then himself
Lungs still think they're dying

And I can't tell you just how happy I am that it exists. It's given me drive to work on other stories again, to get back into drawing.
