What About Ask King Sombra?

Yes, the story is over! And while I'll still draw the gang every once in a while (heck, I already drew them again), the story itself is concluded. I won't be doing a continuation or sequel, nor will I ever 'give someone my blessing' to do any official continuation. Fanart and fanfiction (or is it fanfanart and fanfanfiction?) is of course welcome as long as my story / characters are properly credited / linked! Lots of things were purposely left unseen / open-ended so that your imagination can run wild. cough his cutie mark cough

The blog will remain up for everyone to read! I currently have no plans for a print version, but am considering working on a digital download. I prefer people to read the story through Tumblr, though, as that's the medium I originally formatted it for!

This has seriously been an amazing experience. If you told me I’d still be running a pony ask blog in 2016- and that ask blog would have almost 20,000 followers- I wouldn’t have believed you. Thank you all for being fans and enjoying my silly horse! And hopefully you’ll follow me to my next blog so you can continue enjoying my silly horses.

One of the greatest things that happened out of this blog was the Somboom, aka the Shot Seen ‘Round the World from a while ago. Seriously, the outpouring support from you guys moved me to tears! Since there were over 300 participants, posting them on here would be impossible. So, I made a sideblog to showcase them all. THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

BRONYCON HAS ENDED, AHHHHH

It was so much fun! Currently I’m in a car, making my way to Chicago to visit for a few days and then it’s OFF TO TROTCON! 10 hour drive means a lot of sleeping and... a lot of Pokemon Go WHAT.

It was SO MUCH FUN meeting all you lovely people! Thank you so much to everyone who attended the panels I was on, who made the time to visit my booth, and who tracked me down as Blank Canvas to say how much they enjoy my work, aaaaaa. <333 Definitely going to go back next year! WAAAAAHHH

First off... NO, ASK KING SOMBRA IS NOT OVER YET! AAAAAH!

But with Bronycon and Trotcon coming up, I have to take my usual break from regular updates. Regular story updates will resume Monday, July 18th. But I’ll still be posting stuff here to keep you entertained in the meantime!

Like many of the fine folk on Tumblrpon, I’ll be attending Bronycon! I’ll be vending in Artist Alley at table B20 “Arts n’ Farts” with @askasketchypony aka Katotter aka That One Screaming Changeling. You’ll most likely catch me at the booth after 2pm on Friday & Saturday!

I’m also reprising my role as the Blank Canvas mascot actor! AND I’m going to be on several panels this year, including acting as Fluttershy in an Ask a Pony Panel (Super Duper Slumber Party Panel). WILD TIMES, Y’ALL.
