The archer sighed at the other being so persistent.”Fine…only tonight…”he whispered and marched on for his cottage.”Why do you want this so badly…?”

Malzahar looked at his twin, quite surprised then laughed. “Well, I have blue hair so i doubt that i’m the one you should chase, brother!”

He giggled a bit.

With utter confusion he lowers himself to his eye level, pointing at his head, “I don’t really remember much but I do recall your face and name. Things have been odd ever since my incident at the rift. I can’t remember a single thing…But I do wish for you to trust me down the line.” And then once again, he sent him one of his sheepish grin, full of innocence.

Mendem shrunk away at the pointing. He didn’t like the thought of Malzahar pointing at him. “Headphones,” came his curt answer.

He almost laughed at the rest of what Malzahar said. After being told he was nothing but a pawn and having nearly been murdered? “You expect me to simply believe that you don’t remember me, and that you aren’t just going to try and stab me again when I’ve gotten close to you? You expect someone who works against your life goals to simply..trust you?”

Had Malzahar really been that conniving months before it all happened? Had his words really tainted all that was pure that even the simplest of beings completely despised him?

It was a wretched feeling.

The brows of his furrows, seeing that there isn’t much he can do, however he was willing to do anything to reach out to him, to make amends despite his loyalty to the void.

Not knowing what he should say, he stated what was simply on his mind, “Does it still hurt from time to time....the scar I gave you?”

ask-derpzahar Welp, that’s one Malzahar down. Sadly, this won’t end in a face off between 3 Malzes.

A fist shot from the slumbering form and at direct contact, Malzahar came tumbling down. There was a mark that was left where execution had been dealt and Malzahar, whose cheeks burned from both fervor and a lingering ache, groaned to himself. Tal always did pack a punch.

Of course, the graces of his pain was quickly blown off, creating a facade that Malzahar was only capable of. He smiled, waving off the pain as it was nothing and hopefully trying to earn a good laugh, although deep in the pits of his sanity, he knew Talon would not be laughing.

Things change over time, right?

Especially, after the incident, both dared not speak of.

So with a gentle falter of his lips, he just stood there like a stoic idiot, touching his lips like a victor would touch his trophy.

“I’m guessing the kiss was good?”

Disgusting.  How utterly disgusting.

Talon could not even fathom the reasoning behind Malzahar’s audacious actions.  The two scarcely shared any words, if at all.  There was a reason why the Noxian-born man took the time to circle the building rather than use the door like any sane person would have.  It was not to go the extra mile, but to avoid his…  interesting… repulsive roommate.

“I must have been a fucking devil to have been unlucky enough to be shoved into the same room as you…”  was all he could manage to say.  Given that he was torn from his sleep, Talon was not as attentive as he could have been, and that perhaps was the one thing that spared the mage’s life.  He was tired; perhaps even too tired to fetch a blade to stab the other.  

Talon did not care about the consequences of assault, nor did he give a single damn about spilling blood.  He has done it so many times before, so this should be no different.

“Sleep...I can help you with that.” His luminous orbs had caught Talon in a daze, voices swarming through the connection they shared as they sent a chilling hush through their ears, and whispered a mellow lullaby. This was the first time he had used it out of the rift, being that it did take a toll on his mind, but he treated it with negligence. Hence why a part of him grew stronger.

“Caring for a feckless ally, how pitiful you are as a prophet. We, do not aid those who do not have anything to offer to the void. Have you forgotten?” 

Like always the voice was brushed off and slowly, Malzahar ensured Talon would sleep peacefully even for just a moment. Because...

Both of them knew it was lie to say that Talon didn’t matter.

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the cowardice of a summoner. How is it following Kass?” Despite the fact Mendem would not be able to hear him, Malzahar on the other hand could. After all, just because the voice was no longer in control,that didn’t mean it did not live within him. It would be awhile till it regained control. So for now, Malzahar would be as clueless as he could be.
