Most would think gaining the attention of the newest member of the campfire, and the living equivalent of a golden retriever would be a good thing but you were quickly shown otherwise.
Leon proved to be a very sweet man, as soft as his features he'd always gravitate towards you to either drown you in his help or fluster. It was clear the little crush Mr Kennedy had on you.
At first it was cute, somewhat endearing to see someone so clearly head over heels for you. Leon would always trail behind you to offer help or just start a conversation, often the two of you would talk and it would lighten your mood even after the rougher trials.
But then would come to the problem when you wanted to be alone, something that Mr Puppy couldn't deal with. Sometimes you wanted nothing more than just brainlessly staring at the fire late at night when you knew no one else was around, but with Leon actively looking for you changed that.
Leon would sit down beside you with a giddy smile and gentle greeting, staring expectantly at you while you barely hung on. You always tried to gently tell him that you didn't want to talk and just be alone but he'd never really listened, the first time at the campfire he went silent but kept trying to shoot over to you.
That first time you just brushed it off and crossed you arms snuggling into yourself, in those few moments Leon took to plant himself right beside you so close that the two of you were touching.
It was slightly irritating so let it go, big mistake. When you passed out eventually woke up nestled under Leon's arm and laying on his chest, you quickly pushed yourself off. And walked off to get ready for the day at your, apparently, that was enough to wake up Leon.
As you were walking you hear quick footsteps chasing after you, turning around you saw Leon with slightly messy hair and a drowsy smile. "Good morning, how are you feeling."
"Just fine." You continued and opened your cabin door and planned on closing behind you when you almost slammed the door on Leon body, the both of you surprised.
"Are you following me into my cabin?" You asked almost in disbelief, Leon stood there for another moment before answering.
"Uh, I was just-"
Leon didn't have an excuse and instead stood there stuttering while struggling to find a proper response, turns out Leon fully planned on doing his morning routine at the same time as you, in your place, beside you.
You reminded him he has his own cabin for that much to Leon's painfully obvious disappointment, again you thought that it would stop there but it didn't.
It slowly became a pattern that Leon would try to start his days with you in the way you did, right beside you like you two were a couple waking each morning together. Leon always listen when you told him no, but it didn't stop him trying the next day, and the next, and the next.
What once was adorable and pleasant quickly became overbearing and suffocating, you needed some time to yourself. But every time you tried to tell Leon that he would always promise to be quiet and not bother you, like that was the problem. A part of you felt guilty which lead to him taking advantage of that and clinging onto you when you wanted nothing more than to read quietly, alone.
It was those damn puppy dog eyes he always gave you, made you feel like shit for sending him away. I mean all he wanted to do was sit beside you and maybe cling onto your arm once, or twice, or maybe stick his head under the book you were reading to try and lay on top of you for cuddles.
No matter where you went he'd find you too so trying to avoid him wasn't an option, which eventually you asked the Entity for a day of rest away from all the survivors (really Leon). And as for good behaviour and doing well in the trials She granted you that, thank the gods.
Getting back from the trials you started to make your way to where the Entity promised you would be alone, no other survivors could enter. Of course, Leon was quick on your tail following you with endless questions.
"Wait, where are you going?" You sighed heavily before answering, not bothering to stop or look at him.
"A vacation."
"A vacation, vacation where?" Leon quickly followed up.
"Away from everyone." Leon's eyes widened at your words.
"Even me?" He laced in the hurt trying to guilt-trip you.
"Yep." It came out blunt and apathetic.
"W-wait, what do you mean?" Leon clung onto your arm stopping you from walking.
You turned to look at the man with unimpressed eyes, "Look, Leon, I need a break. I get you want to be around me but you're drowning me, I need some space and time alone." you said and Leon's face turns slightly pained.
You took your arm out of his grip and started walking again, Leon's face turns to desperation as he watched you move again. Quickly he wraps his arms around ou middle and buries his face into your shoulder. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" he started apologizing frantically.
"Leon, let go of me!" You raised your voice trying to wiggle out of his grasp with no luck.
"No, please don't leave me, I promise I'll be good. Just please, don't leave!" The level of frantic panic in his voice sounded so genuine it broke your heart, did Leon have abandonment issues.
You took a deep breath before calming down and speaking, "Alright, fine. But you got to stop being so smothering and give me some space when I need it, okay Leon." he nodded in your shoulder, a smile ear to ear.
I hate working in fast food š my poor blog is neglected and I am just too tired to write or just donāt have the motivation to write like I used to
Sometimes I hate being an adult. I never realized how exhausting it was. I was always so excited to become an adult and now that I am one, I wish I had enjoyed being a kid a little bit more.
It really does make me savor every bit of free time I have because Iām either working, running errands, or worrying about something and even with my free time itās spent sleeping half the day. It makes me feel so dead inside; Every day feels the same and I canāt seem to escape the endless cycle that is being an adult.
I miss the free time I had where I could write for hours on my blog, answer questions, rp with friends, do requests, draw and paint and now I just canāt seem to find the time.
How do you do it?? How do you become better at adulting? Because at 19 years old, my current age, it just seems like Iām physically incapable of doing it. I have no hope for myself that I am going to be able to take care of myself when my mother passes away and I am forced to live on my own.

Hello! I have something to ask. I'm sorry for bringing this drama up (because it's from february) but i'm honestly confused. I discovered John Doe not long ago and i really liked it so i searches for the creator. Turns out they got called out about some gross stuff. The problem is that idk who is in the right. Some defend Mortisfox meanwhile others think they're bad. So i just came here because you've alredy talked about it before (and also bc i love your fanfics hehe) to know a bit about this
Honestly, both sides are a bit messy and itās hard to know who is in the wrong and who is in the right. Iāve gone through both sides many times and I just couldnāt bother with it anymore so hereās just a piece of advice that I just decided to follow:
If the person who has been ācalled outā has given their sides with proof the first time, there is no reason to suspect theyāre in the wrong. HOWEVER, if it happens a SECOND time then thereās obviously a pattern going on.
So far, I havenāt seen anyone else calling Mortisfox out so Iāve been chill so far. But if any reason you suspect they are a bad person, you can always separate the character from the creator. Loving the character doesnāt make you a horrible person so long as youāre not contributing to the creator.
I donāt know if youāve seen my recent posts but Iāve talked about liking something coming from a bad person one or two days ago
Anyways, I hope this helped and so sorry if you were waiting for my reply!
Question: Can i enjoy something that has a problematic creator? (WITHOUT supporting the creator's actions) I say this cause i like a lot of stuff but its creators are bad so i just don't know if it is okay to separate the art from the artist. I'm pissed that everything that i like turns out to have a shitty creator. These things make me happy and i simply can't stop liking them :(

And I mean some people have an attachment to things they love and it hurts to know that the creator that made the thing they love is terrible.
FOR EXAMPLE, I found out a while ago Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco is not too good. He stole some stuff from IDKHOW aka Dallas his former band mate but his music helped me deal with my parents divorce when I was a young teen. So, instead of listening to his music on his official accounts, I listen to them from other people who have posted his music (either with lyrics or even sometimes nightcore) and most of the time YouTube overlooks that they didnāt credit the music to him
Anyways, point is, you can still love something even if it was created by a horrible person, it doesnāt make YOU a horrible person in anyway.
