• Ashley James Tate was born in the south side of Chicago, Illinois on July 9th, 1996 to Mara Hugh, and Leighton Tate.  • Was raised in a very toxic, and low class home. His father is a heavily abusive alcoholic, and drug addict. His mother passed away when he was fourteen. He lived in a state of constant, and serious physical, sexual, and mental abuse from the ages of 14-18. When his mother passed away, he was left with his father. Before her death, she was the focus. She would protect Ashley at any cost, even if it meant she would be the subject of his wrath.  After her deatH, there was no more protection for the young boy.  • The curly blonde was left with one thing from his mother when she passed The only thing that his father never knew about, and something that he would have surely sold for drugs if he were to ever find out about it. A camera. Thus, starting his passion for photography. He keeps a picture of two of them in his wallet on the day she gave him the camera, which would be the last day he’d ever see her again. The boy woke up the next morning to the sounds of an ambulance. His mother had tried before, but knowing his father, he would never call an ambulance unless he had to. He didn’t even have to see to know what happened. He knew. • Ashley has some street smarts, he basically has had to fend for himself for over four years of his adolescence after his mother passed away. His father worked very little, most months the both of them were scraping up the money for rent. Even being a very young child, he felt an obligation to his father.  He learned to get his resources in any way that he possibly could (ie: stealing, odd jobs).
