Swallow Tail by ashleytinger SRV-A24672 SWALLOW TAIL SALVAGE AND RESCUE VEHICLE Mustang Class Tug - Retrofit Crew (standard): 6 Crew (minimum): 2 Operating Range: 18 months The Swallow Tail started off as a intra-system space tug and was converted over to a salvage vessel after reclamation from a salvage yard and the installation of a standard class jump drive giving it the regular jump range of a civilian vessel. Capable of attaching to and transporting vessels many times its size and mass, the Swallow Tail has made a very nice return on investment for its owner and operator. Currently operating out of Gateway Station at the edge of ISA territory, the Swallow Tail has no political affiliation and will accept jobs from any faction. Finally finished up the outside of this little bugger enough to use her so now I can actually work on that comic.  Huzzah. The interior sets really determined what the exterior was going to look like and I found myself borrowing a bit from the Palamino from The Black Hole but definitely my own spin on it. Maybe a little Expanse too.

Parallel Lives - Crisis of Infinite Gothos by ashleytinger So the Trek BBS monthly theme was a riff on Crisis on Infinite Earths and well, this is where my brain went with it.  Just a page right now, but I made up the whole Parallel Lives crew (the gender-flipped Kelvin-verse from the IDW comics) so I can absolutely continue on if I decide to. Might even get that Doomsday idea started. Some of my face morphs went way better than others did. Finally decided to kick things off here in 2020. I’ve got a lot of personal projects going that I’ll share on Deviantart and on here.   Personal Projects: The Infernal Isle - A Dungeons and Dragons inspired setting with my own characters and situations, expanding and moving on from what I’d done in December with #DnDecember2019. It’ll be an ongoing comic as I get going. Hoping for a few pages a week. I’ll probably release 5 of them at a time in one file.  Swallow Tail - I’d binged too much of the Expanse (like that could happen) and decided to dust off a sci-fi universe I’d been working on for years and mostly abandoned 5 or 6 years ago and am going the harder sci-fi route with it. I don’t have an overall name for it, so I’m sticking with the salvage crew I’d made up for it.I’ll be handling this one like Infernal Isle. Fan Comic Projects: Challenger - A Star Trek Phase II era story-line set on board the Challenger, the last built of the Constitution class before the full on refit. Don’t expect this until I get my sets in order.  Aurora - Star Trek TNG era story-line set on a Probert Style Ambassador class.  Again, sets.  Jedi for Hire - A Star Wars story following a Jedi survivor from the purge and her crew as they struggle to find a place out in the Rishi Maze having fled from the Inquisitors in the main Star Wars galaxy.  Fan Construction Projects: YT-1300 interior - I’m working on a more put together interior for the class of Star Wars ship that graced the Millenium Falcon, only in much better shape but not quite as party boat as Lando had it. Still much cleaner than it ends up in Han’s hands. I’m looking to release this as a set for others to use. Throwback Sets - Like the bridge of the Sephora, I’m working on some more sets that are a bit more advanced looking that the original series Star Trek sets, but could easily fit with the Phase II aesthetic. I’m looking to revamp my Transporter Room, Engineering, create a Sickbay set that fits more to my liking with two different eras of bio-beds, a crew quarters set-up, and a release of the VIP quarters set-up that would work on a starbase or a larger ship. Phase II sets - I’ve started re-vamping some of my Star Trek Challenger sets and I’m looking to hit that mark of Motion Picture and Phase II feel and I have a long list of sets for this to work on.  TNG era sets - I did end up mostly finishing the forward lounge last year along with a set of corridors for a working class TNG era ship, not the luxury look of the Galaxy class. So these are also on the list to get done.
