Air Jordan are releasing Ray Allen's Player Exclusive Air Jordan XIII to celebrate him becoming the all time 3pt made leader.

The shoe will release July 16, 2011 at House of Hoops in Boston and SoleFly in Miami. 

If you’re looking for a mixtape that shows complexity and originality, look no further than the latest installment from G.O.O.D. Music’s Prynce - Cyhi. Royal Flush 2 is a great display of what a mixtape can be if you don’t just hop on the top 15 radio hits at the time. Cyhi carefully takes you on a ride through his different sides which he represents by the 4 suits of a card deck. The Prynce of Spadez is the rough neck, you party with the Prynce of Clubz, The Prynce of Heartz is where you find the Trey Songz feature etc.

The thing that I really like the most about the tape is that the production is well tailored to the Prynce being represented. If you pay attention carefully, you will notice that the Prynce of Diamonds tracks all concentrate heavily on instrumentation while all the Prynce of Spades songs mostly rely on some ill vocal samples.

Overall I feel like Cyhi did his thing on the tape but by no means was it a perfect tape. While he  definitely is a creative linguist, he sells himself short by simply trying to hard. Many of the punchlines are forced and he is definitely better off sticking to putting together multis. He’s the kind of guy who refreshes you with things you’ve never thought could work and then says things you’ve heard 1000x before. But for a rookie I was impressed to say the least. The tape was definitely diverse and worth a listen. It spanned from the rapid delivery and creative word fitting of “Cold As Ice” which may be the best cut on the tape, to the Playful “Sunday Morning” which easily could have been a hit single from Cam’ron.

I think he may have spread himself too thin on this one to maintain integrity but I love the direction he’s going in. If you look past the overdone interludes which are more like scenes from The Lion King, the tape was well done. He definitely seems most comfortable as the Prynce of Spades and I hope to hear more from this side in the future.
