Smarthinking's Grammar & Documentation essay critique offers the same personalized, essay-specific feedback you expect from the Writing Center. While Smarthinking's standard essay critique prioritizes higher-order concerns (main idea/thesis, content development, organization, and introduction/conclusion), the Grammar & Documentation critique addresses exclusively lower-order issues of grammar & mechanics, sentence structure, word choice, and documentation. This critique follows our standard format comprised of a tutor's embedded comments and a response form with summary commentary on essay strengths, areas of lower-order concern, and a summary of next steps.

Smarthinking is an online tutoring service that your school is making available to its students. Smarhinking provides tutoring in mathematics (basic math through Calculus including Bilingual Math), Biology, Intro Human A & P, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Accounting, Intro to Finance, Statistics, Spanish, Writing, Reading, and IT Support.
