He can see him?

 “You....remind me of someone. But now is not the time. these monsters are a  bother right now.”

The candle is a dying light, night passes and he is alone until someone sees him. a mortal. Many rules have been broken ever since that era, and now he is....seeable he suppose.

 “You...can see me?” Wings were folded against his back, very much someone who was in cautious mode right now as he figures out what to do when a mortal does see him. Its very much .... something he didn’t account for.

War wasn’t anything new here, and neither were monsters. 

Even after the fall of Hades, a few straggling demons would show their faces in places where they shouldn’t be— and that was good for the people who made money off of them.

Like Magnus, who happened to be one of the most prized bounty hunters this side of Greece. It almost seemed like nothing could take him down.

But while he’d been dealing with three monsters on one side of him, he must’ve not realised that another, larger one had started moving towards his position, and he was hit in the back by it’s club, sending him sprawling forward and onto his knees in a daze. His eyes locked on the ground, trying to get his breath back. The pain in his spine would come to bite him later, but he knew he couldn’t stay down.

So he pushed himself back up to his feet with a determined grunt, and raised his sword with a… somewhat-pained grunt. Regardless, he went right back into the throes of fighting. Two of the three original monsters had gone down easily, he just needed to finish-off the rest.

He knew he’d be able to do it… but all the stress on his back would leave him hurting, later.

Little did he know, though, a particularly-skilled guardian angel would be coming by him at any moment…

He wants to have words with this so called new goddess of light. [without getting testy regarding what she did with the other goddess, hypocrite] but with the world in shambles after a all out godly war between idiots. He feels that his work is never done, humans continue to breed one after the other, benavolence is harder to earn because the world continues to be crap sack. 

He has been zoom from one place to another, fighting monsters left and right that he too, was exhauted and only had enough magic for one more zoom left in his body. After all, after all there is only one angel left. The other...his apprentice...equal had left already , so long ago.
