So this one was a odd texture left over in a wine glass. Thought it was really cool though. If you use the textures here I’d love to see what you do with them!
Alright so i am starting simple. Use it for whatever. It started as branches against a clouded sky. But it can be anything now. I’d love to see what people use it for.
In the begining
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... I grew up watching the special addition star wars vhs where they talked about the making of the movie and how they animated it. In part of this the lead animator was talking about wanting to change something because it looked flat when it was solid black so was looking for a texture. he threw away his 2 day old coffee cup and looked down and how the coffee settled into the Styrofoam cup. Imediatly he fished that cup out and used that texture as the texture for that peice. I grew up hearing that story and because of that saving anything that had a interesting texture that I might need in the future. Well now days I just take photoes of these textures but I realize that having these types of things as a reference is helpful so I will post my collection of interesting textures here as a reference for all artists.
