North Carolina MC whom you may know form the dynamic group Little Brother signs a 2 project deal with Mello Music Group. The first project is said to be with a Virginia native the legendary producer Nottz so look out for that to be released this summer.

Lupita Nyong'o but you may recognize her as Patsey from the critically acclaimed movie "12 years a slave". Lupita is a Kenyan that was born in Mexico to Dorothy and Peter Anyang Nyong'o, she is of Luo descent and the second of six children. She Attended college in the US graduating from Hampshire College with a degree in Film and Theatre Studies and subsequently enrolling in a program at Yale school of drama. After graduating the program at Yale she was immediately cast in "12 years a slave" which she did an amazing job. With her American Film debut "12 years a slave" she won the screen actors guild and critic's choice award for best supporting role!!!

President Ronald Reagan signed a bill creating a federal holiday honoring Dr. King on November 2, 1983 but it wasn't recognized until January 20, 1986
