I forgot what I was doing in my original 50+ hour save file from last year, so I decided to start a new save file in Fields of Mistria now that it's in 1.0 at long last! Can't wait to watch March's tsundere ass fall in love with my player character yet again. I named them River this time.

Often I will read something that isn't very good and I'm like "I don't know how this got so popular but good on the author for getting into writing, all of us start off by writing bad things" and then I learn that they've been writing for ten years and the story was optioned for a Netflix movie before they even finished writing it because they have a rich uncle or something and it's like "oh they're not a newcomer learning their craft, they just don't give a shit about writing."

ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves

back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore

if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??

don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM

so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!

this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together

and then in the end you put it together like this!!

and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy

People get made fun of for being scared of aging but it comes from the very real fear of being discarded by society that’s why i always say the goal is not to never become old or disabled the future comes for us all the goal is better social policy

I (finally) debuted my Tomoro cosplay at Metrocon yesterday! Unfortunately I didn't have quite enough time to finish Gekkomon, so I just kind of carried his head around as Kekomon. Close enough lmao. The tongue does extend, and I had a blast telling people to "grab the tongue and pull". A handful of people recognized me, which is more than I was expecting TBH!

It's hard to tell, but in the last picture you can kind of see that I have the ear cuffs and I shaved notches into my eyebrows as well! The cosplay itself is super comfy, it's just capri jeans, a t-shirt that I put the pulse logo on, a jacket that was a very lucky thrift store find, and some black crocs. Those are even my real prescription glasses. Gotta love a cosplay I don't have to take off my glasses for!
