Something something, Ira rejecting but acknowledging the world that Asya so deeply embraces. It's in the same vein where she couldn't ignore Asya getting picked on, even if she has nothing to do with it—she's not even supposed to acknowledge her—Ira steps in anyways because it 'annoys her'. Then later contradicts it by commenting on how she likes Asya's poems, requesting it even, with the same poem being what brought her back... even if it was just for a moment. She cannot love like Asya does, but maybe she can face the truth head on, even if she loses her humanity.
