“Thanks Heath. It means a lot coming from one of Heaths old friends.” Aubrey smiled and then nodded. “Heath adores Noah and it melts my heart. He’s the best father I could’ve asked for Noah.”

“It’s no problem, Aubrey, really,” Andy told her, politely dismissing her thanks with a brief smile. “I secretly knew he would be,” he said, “Heath always struck me a fatherly type of person, even with everything he’s been through...” he paused, “...how’s that going, by the way, is he getting better?” This was something he had yet to ask Heath himself because he knew it could be sensitive to him and taken the wrong way. 

“I’ll do that. I think he’d love to have you as his best man. Oh, thank you. I hope so. I’m working really hard on it, so hopefully it will turn out nice.”

“I’m sure it will, it sounds like you’re putting a lot of work into it and I know Heath really loves you and Noah, so I also know that he’s going to whatever he can to care for and protect you both. I’m happy that you’re happy, Aubrey.”

“Oh trust me, I know.” Aubrey laughed and then sighed. “It’s going pretty well. It’s stressful to say the least but it’s nice to have Heath helping me out every step of the way which makes it less stressful than if I were to be doing it by myself.”

“That’s Heath for you, I’m glad you’ve been getting some help though. If I can do anything at all, you just let me know. I thought I’d better offer my help as his best man. I’m sure it’s going to be a lovely wedding.”

“He’s the one who makes me happy, honestly.” Aubrey smiled thinking about Heath and then looked at Noah. She watched the little boy wave and shake Andy’s hand. “He’s Heath’s mini me, is what I call him. He’s just like him and he looks just like him.” Aubrey laughed and then put Noah down.

Aubrey smiled and nodded her head. “That would be me and you must be Andy.” She said knowing that Heath had talked about him before. “It’s nice to meet you too and you know he’s the one who’s made me so happy again. Ah, great things? I doubt that’s true.” Aubrey laughed a little and then watched Noah run up behind her. “This is Noah. Noah, can you say hi to daddy’s friend Mr.Andy?” Aubrey asked picking up the little boy who waved at Andy.
