What a visit to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary NOBTS. The community here has been amazing and extremely supportive. I not only met some great servants of the Lord, but the students were filled with passion and excitement and were a joy with which to discuss Army Chaplaincy. It was an honor to meet and work with Randy Edwards (SBC endorser), Dr. Bo Rice (Dean of Graduate Studies, NOBTS), CH (Rear Admiral) Phillip "Endel" Lee (Navy Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserves), and Dr. Paul Kim (Asian-American Relations, SBC). Last night was quite unique as I attended the Caskey Conference, which supports bi-vocational and small church pastors and their wives. Dr. Jim Shaddix delivered the first message of the night at Nobts Chapel, encouraging from 2 Corinthians 5.
