there are queer chinese users on xiaohongshu but our posts are heavily censored whereas you get to move freely through this space (for now), which pretty much resembles how it is with real-life border-crossing. moreover I know only too well being queer does not prevent one from being racist, and I find it strange that anyone who claims to care about social justice should be comfortable with profiting off of rampant colourism and white imperialist aura.
