If Gotham wasn’t already used to this kind of madness, then heads would have turned from across the block upon Jason’s commotion. She stayed quiet through it all, she had no idea how to put herself in his shoes. Ever since he was young, he’s just been through too much, so it was hard for her to blame him for his current position. He was just trying to do… what’s right. He was just lost.

She waited until he let it all out with the lamp post to somewhat close the distance between them, palms open and not of malice. “My blood isn’t on your hands, okay? I don’t think it will ever be. I know you’re better than that.” She was veering towards the ‘It’s not too late, you can change, I can help you’ speech but she refrained herself from giving it. Right now she believed what he needed was not a pep talk, but to know she was hearing him.

There was an anger in Jason that he wasn’t sure hed ever let go.  He looked at the blood on his hand from hitting the lamp post.  “Yours may not be but so much is”  He started at his hand then ran his thumb over the J on his cheek.   with a large sigh, he shook his hand then looked back at her.  “I'm not better than anything or worse this is me and what I have to do”  he shook his head for a bit.   “I do what he wouldn’t”   He knew Bruce wasn’t gone despite seeing Wayne manor explode.  Bruce Wayne was dead. 

His statement didn’t exactly put her at ease. She immediately barked through the door. “Of course I have to be strong. What else am I supposed to do? Entertain by begging for mercy?!” As for whether she knew Jason was in Gotham already or not, she didn’t, she was busy with something else, but that was none of his business.

She heard Jason starting to walk away and it made her even more ticked. He still didn’t answer her question. Out of frustration she gave in to herself and opened the door, trailing after him via wheelchair. “Hey! I asked you a question. What did you want? Not cleaning. I mean… why did you come here, to the Clock Tower?” Do you need my help, Jason?

Jason turned and looked at her shocked she came out.  He still didn’t know how to say it.  He sighed a bit then swallowed.   “No, I don't...”  he didn’t want to say he didn’t need her help.  it sounded too harsh to him.  He looked at his hands the hands that carried her out of this clock tower and took her to Scarecrow.    He looked back up and her and sighed.  "Honestly I don't know why I'm here"  He shook his head and looked around the city for a bit.  "I'm in a god damn city I can't stand.   I have a job to do.  And I'm here in front of the woman I kidnapped in a ploy to take this god forsaken city.  And I'm here to try and make my self feel better about the shit I pulled"  he was yelling at the end of his rant.
