We stopped by my wife’s old stomping grounds of corona queens where she grew up. As everybody knows I can’t stand New York and don’t understand why people live there lol but it was nice seeing my wife react and reminisce on how and where she grew up, how far she has come and where she is headed. One thing she kept asking me with a big smile is “isn’t it nice to come back to where you grew up?” I’m from the south Bronx so my reply was “no”🤷🏽‍♂️🤣 We didn’t have a monumental spot like #lemonicekingofcorona to get these delicious water based icees. My brother in law pictured here is from corona as well. He actually worked here at lemon ice king of corona when he was a kid. He now lives a great life in Florida. But overall I enjoyed seeing my wife react to “coming back home” and how humble she remains. We live 2 hours away deep in New Jersey surrounded by farms and deers. It’s the total opposite of how we both grew up. So I believe there is nothing wrong with returning to where one grew up at every now and again. It’s good for the soul.
