I'm laughing at the fact that Damian doesn't hold back that he's Batman's blood, same DNA, son. Out of the four (technically five) Robins, he's the one actually related to Batman. Obviously, that doesn't take away from Batman being a dad of five and liking all of them equally.
The funny part comes when I'm thinking about Gotham rogues, citizens, the news and many not aware Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same guy are wondering where the hell he found three boys and one girl to be his Robins.
Him having a bio kid as his sidekick, odd, but that's his kid by blood so the insanity is genetic and makes sense to them, but four other kids willingly decided "I want to be a crime fighter and fight with a man in a latex batsuit." They see a furry adjacent (not that there's anything wrong with furries) and a cute child/teen/adult and they must go through a rollercoaster of reactions. First anger at him having one, shock at him having one, amazement that holy frick they can hold their own in these fights, and then confused at him having new ones.
Like us the readers and watchers know those robins are built different, Tim and Stephanie actively chose to join, but they don't know that. So, to Gotham citizens they must be freaked the hell out! Where is he finding these Arkham kids?
Rogues wondering how can they get their own. Jim, Lucius, heck even members close to Bruce from the JLA who know Bruce is Batman and learned a lot about the Batfamily are still confused at how the hell did he find 5 kids willing and able to don the mask of Robin? Not only that but that Batman isn’t the one who made the original Robin suit, his first Robin did.
Carrie hasn't appeared yet so that's why I didn't say six. There's all the fact that love the concept or not, I love how some writers did add in that Bruce didn't really want the circulation of Robins, but they won't leave and now they kind of are integral to his life as a crime fighting detective.
It's insanity like that, that makes me glad to be a Batman fan. I'm not writing this as someone who doesn't like the concept, I like it these are just my thoughts. So, if someone turns this into a text to speech on a TikTok, remember that lol.
