Live In Dreams

Does repentance to God always have to be expressed verbally to be accepted? There are many times where I am brought to tears in humbleness and repentance before God after some deep reflection before I fall asleep. I can almost feel my heart and soul itself doing all the talking to God in those moments. In those silent conscious moments with God, I'm moved deeply and I found that attempting to verbalize my repentance and/or admiration for God ruins the moment and feels less heartfelt.
