Due to the high risk nature of delivering him, we are scheduled to have him at 39 weeks. Y’all we have made it to the end of week 29. This week little man has been the most active he’s been this whole pregnancy. His kicks are still strong but we have added in boney elbows and knees which actually hurt quite a bit. I wouldn’t change feeling him move for the world though. The nausea from the first trimester is making its return and I am praying that it is no where near as severe as the first 21 weeks of this pregnancy. 28 weeks 1 day Hello 3rd trimester and hello 7 months!! Y’all I cannot even believe we are at this point. Baby Update: Baby boy is continuing to grow and move (and move he does). His daddy and I have officially started to call him our little athlete as he is already measuring in the 87th percentile for both his height and weight. Our doctors say he is long in length and is weighing in at a little under 3lbs. Due to being high risk and having a planned c-section, we have a general idea of when he will be making his appearance into this world. Mama Update: Mama is tired lol. This little boy keeps me up at night with his kicks and punches to my ribs and bladder. He’s running out of space so he making mommy a tad more uncomfortable. I have started incorporating prenatal yoga in hopes of alleviating some of the back and hip pain. This mamas belly is measuring 30weeks pregnant currently and I have only gained 15lbs according to my OB. I’m thinking it’s because I have a short torso and baby boy has no where to go but to grow outward. Overall i still feel pretty decent. We have so much to be grateful and thankful for each and everyday. Today I am feeling especially thankful. This year brought new jobs and increased financial stability. It saw our relationship grow and brought us closer together. We have grown together and as individuals. This year we found out that we would be growing by two little feet and welcoming our greatest blessing. Happy Saturday ☀️ Y’all this week has been pretty great. I feel decent and we got to see baby boy twice at his anatomy scans. We are even more in love with him and I am obsessed with his little face. Week 21 fun facts: - baby boy is weighing in at a solid pound and is in the 76th percentile for his gestational age. - he moves ALOT!! Happy Saturday!! A little late posting my 20 week update but here we are at 20w6d 💙 This little boy has become super active this week. I feel like I have a heavyweight champion growing inside me 💪🏽🦵🏽His kicks are strong and getting stronger daily. Overall I feel pretty decent. I still have bouts of morning sickness but nothing near as bad as the HG I was diagnosed with in my first trimester. I have regained 9lbs of the 30lbs my I lost and at this point my goal is to keep gaining steadily and remain as active as I possibly can. Finally felt good enough to be back in the gym for the first time since week 5 of this pregnancy. I still don’t look too pregnant from the front, but when I turn to the side, you can definitely see this little boy rounding out his mamas belly. I thought seeing my body change and “go backwards” so to speak would bother me, but honestly I love this little bump I have going on.
