Words and Worlds

Hello. I'm Aretice (meaning explained in the last four lines, which you may skip to if that's all you care about). I am currently a 22-year-old college student, but I only include that because I assume other people care about it - it is only partially relevant to the internal aspects of my existence. Things I do/am that I find more relevant include music composition, game design, writing fiction, and thinking/contemplative, introspective, thoughtful, curious, defiant, disorganized, and doubtful. I do not care to delve into things at present that are both a state of being and a state of doing (unusual to think of inaction as a verb, but I digress). If you care about those psychological test things, I have tested as INTP (89/88/11/59), 5w4. I score slightly above average on narcissism tests but lower than actual narcissists (if you know enough about me you will come to understand fairly quickly as to why this is). I am allergic to ignorant communication of ideas and will not speak about anything I do not consider myself at least a little bit knowledgeable about assuming it has any prior grounding in anything at all and exists as something other than speculation (which basically means I am free to say pretty much anything I want about dark energy). I am often (what could be seen as) unnecessarily verbose. I like to think of it as caring very much about precision of language, since I am terrible at it in speech (by comparison, at least, and that's not to say that I'm good at it here) -- I find written communication much simpler. I assume most people have given up reading by this point. If you haven't, we would probably get along at least somewhat. I wonder if the reason that I have "Hello. I'm Aretice." as my introduction as opposed to "Hello, I'm Aretice." as my introduction is because it subconsciously speaks volumes of the compartmentalization of my thoughts -- an indication that a first greeting and an introduction are not necessarily linked or synonymous or anything like that. Divergent thinking. Yay (from a societal standpoint, I imagine they would be -- primarily convergent thinkers, I imagine, would consider there to be a link). The name of my blog as well as my online name are explained as follows - "Reticent" means something along the lines of "loath to speak up", with the "a-" prefix I indicate a lack of a thing, and then "horizon" is a word often used to indicate future potential. Effectively, a future where we can say what needs to be said.
